Jayd held him close, playing with his hair.

Chester let him. ‘You have to close your eyes too,’ he mumbled.

Jayden closed his eyes.

After a bit, two ghost-like figures appeared. Chester held onto Jayden tightly.

Jayden let him, leaning into him slightly.

‘Chester,’ his father said.
Chester looked up. ‘H-Hello, father.’ -
Jayden looked up as well, pulling away from Chester slightly.

Chester’s father looked between them. ‘Is this Jayden?’
‘Y-Yes, father.’ -
Jayden nodded. "Nice to meet you." He said nervously.

‘Nice to meet you too, Jayden. I presume the rest of the family are here?’
‘Grandmother and Grandfather left yesterday. The rest are still here.’ -
His father nodded. He paused. "Are you alright, Chester?"

Chester fidgeted with his pocket watch. ‘Y-Yeah, I’m fine,’ he lied.

Jayden leaned into him, knowing he was lying. His father did too.

Chester gave a weak smile.

Chester's dad sat down next to them eventually. "Do you want to talk about it?"
