Jayd took his hand, standing up as well.

Chester interlaced their fingers.

Jayden blushed, walking out to the gardens.

Chester smiled, following.

Jayd picked a small flower he was pretty sure wasn't supposed to be growing in one of the sections, and offered it to Chester.

Chester tucked the flower in Jayden’s hair and kissed the side of his head.

"No, it's for you!" Jayden laughed, offering it back to him.

Chester chuckled weakly, taking the flower. ‘Fine, fine.’ He tucked it into his shirt pocket.

Jayden grinned, leaning into him.

Chester pulled him closer.

Jayd let him, kissing his cheek.

Chester let him, smiling weakly.

"You alright?"

‘Yeah. I just don’t know if my father will want to talk or not.’

Jayden nodded in understanding.
