Mildred slept for a majority of the night, only waking when she grew cold or had a bad dream, which had seemingly increased the past few nights.

Jack got home with a jug of rabbit blood. He stored it in the kitchen for Wilhelm and the other cooks after he praised smokey for the 5 dozenth time. Then he ate and went to bed.

The sun rose and Mildred was awake now. She walked through the halls, watching the sunrise through the large windows. The sun set the sky alight with beautiful oranges and purples and pinks. A small smile tugged at the corners of Mildred's lips as she sat at the sill and watched.

Jack slept soundly. His door creaked open quietly and a certain orange haired figure slipped in.

Mildred watched the sunrise until the sky turned into its pale blue, and sat there with a warm sun beating on her skin. It felt nice after being inside for so long.

Frederick walked to jack. "Soon enough Jack. You'll see me when the plan is done." He whispered. Jack smiled in his sleep

Mildred's thoughts turned to when she was accidentally rude to Jack at lunch. She didn't know if he'd taken offence to it, but she got an idea and ran to the library. Once she was finished with a book she found she spent all day on said idea, only finishing about late afternoon.

Frederick was gone by the time jack woke up a little before sunset. He wished he could read but candles were limited and he wanted to refrain for his citizens

When Mildred was finished, she looked at her handiwork and smiled. She walked to Jack's room after asking someone where it was, holding a cup of milk in case he was thirsty and a cup of water in case he was manically thirsty. Mildred knocked on the door.

Jack heard a knock at the door and opened it assuming it to be Cain. Mildred was met with jack in a flannel set of pajamas decorated with stars. "Good morning Mildred." Jack said.

'Good morning,' Mildred said. 'I got you some milk.' She held out the glass of milk to him. 'I hope you slept well.'

"thank you." Jack said taking the milk. "I had no nightmares tonight. How did you sleep?" Jack asked as he drank the cup of milk

'Uh... I didn't,' Mildred said. 'I was busy working on something that I wish to show you.'

"hmm?" Jack hummed. He was intrigued my this. "You should probably sleep but I am intrigued." Jack said.

Mildred smiled. 'Come,' she said. She stepped backwards so Jack could walk out of his room. All windows in the hall except for one had their curtains drawn, and the ones without curtains had been covered by Mildred with sheets or pieces of wood as the sun was still out.
