‘Still. I never got the point of the story, though. How are you Rapunzel?’

"I don't understand why I'm Rapunzel either. It's stupid." Jack concluded.

‘Fair enough,’ Mildred chuckled. She leaned back in her chair, bringing up her legs and crossing them. ‘Also, this is completely unrelated, but pretty soon I’m going to need a new change of clothes or some way to wash up. This dress is getting kind of, er, smelly.’

"ah, you're right. I'm so sorry I didn't think of that. I'm sure jezebel is working tirelessly on the clothes I asked her to make for you, but if you wouldn't mind I'm sure I could ask another maid to borrow a dress, or if it's not too awkward I can offer you a spare maid's dress to wear temporarily while we get your dress washed." Jack said

‘It’s all good. I don’t mind, I just need something clean to wear,’ Mildred said. ‘And a ribbon or two would be nice, as well, if that’s not too much to ask. Or however you vampires put hair up.’

"we have plenty of ribbons. They're very stylish and they're a great accessory. We also have several types of hairpins made by a noble blacksmith family we have here." Jack said.

‘Thank you,’ Mildred said with a smile.

Jack walked up to a desk with drawers. He opened it to reveal sewing supplies. There were several different colored and patterned ribbons inside.

Mildred followed him and looked over his shoulder.

Jack proudly displayed the ribbons. There were so many he had to open a second drawer that had fabrics as well. All of the fabrics had outrageous floral patterns.

‘There are so many,’ Mildred chuckled, looking over them. ‘Do you collect ribbons or something?’

"not really, whenever I think a spool of ribbon looks neat I buy it for jezebel and see if she has any design for it. She leaves most of the ribbons here but there are a few shades she decided to put in older clothing designs for the palace uniforms." Jack said

‘That’s cool,’ Mildred said, smiling. ‘Would she mind if I used one for a bit?’

"I don't think she minds. She rarely ever uses this ribbons. I think she thinks they're a bad shade for clothes, or maybe the patterns don't match her style." Jack said.
