Collins chuckled and took a quick photo of him, then sent it to Holly.
-
"oooooh, okay so ik Florence isn't typing this, you 2 should get out of there. There's some pretty aggressive experiments lurking around there 😬" Holly responded. Florence deconstructed the orange and started eating it slice by slice
-
“We know. We’re trying to brainstorm ways to get the experiments out of here since Florence doesn’t want to leave them.” Collins responded. She watched Florence eat his orange.
-
"that's great long term but I'm talking about rn. I'm heading to saint's West now. Pls tell Florence 😊" Holly texted. Florence finished his orange and swayed from side to side for a bit. He mimicked the song diamonds.
-
Collins looked at Florence. 'She said she's heading Saint's West now.'
-
"oh, we should go meet her!" Florence exclaimed enthusiastically. Florence was excited. He liked seeing old friends he found out recently. Maybe she knew where the creator was
-
'We should,' Collins agreed, pocketing her phone. 'Do you want to go now?'
-
"yeah, let's go let's go let's goooo!" Florence shouted excitedly as he flapped his wings.
-
Collins laughed and stood up, grabbing her satchel. ‘Sounds good.’
-
Florence opened the door of the experimentation room and felt a chill crawl down his spine. It was dusty and the remains of suffering drowned this place. He walked quietly, hesitant to set down his hands.
-
Collins followed, looking around.
-
Florence walked up to a window and unlocked it. He opened it slowly. The lab was filled with darker rooms you couldn't quite see what was inside, but every once in awhile you could see a red light flash through the darkness
-
Collins looked around. She turned on her flashlight.
-
What was in the rooms were unspeakable horrors. It looked like someone had set up saw traps in the rooms. The rooms were covered in blood and silver. One might think of a particularly "cheery" children's hospital (this is a reference). What was living in the rooms though, it was far worse. Something thin, emaciated even, sat with it's spiney back turned to Collins. It was eating something... Red. A stench drafted from the room, it smelled like rotting flesh. The thin creature raised it's head slowly. Florence finished opening the window
-
Collins jumped, looking at the creature. ‘Oh my god,’ she muttered, taking a step back. She looked around the room, nose wrinkling. ‘U-Uh, Florence? What the heck is that?’
