‘Fair enough. You’re not that scary,’ Collins said.

Florence looked intensely at something behind Collins. He mimicked a laugh.

Collins frowned slightly and followed his gaze, turning her head to look behind her.

Behind Collins was what first appeared to be a completely normal woman, however, juxtaposed to her back were large falcon wings. "Nice to see you again Florence, and nice to see you Florence's new friend." The woman said. She held up her phone. She was Holly.

Collins blinked. She looked down at the phone, then back up at the woman. ‘Y-You’re Holly?’ she asked, glance turning to her wings.

"yep. I'm guessing you noticed the wings. Thought I'd surprise ya. They're a body modification some of us started studying after we left saint's West. It's actually based on Florence's gene mods." Holly said. She was oddly indifferent to the strangeness of the experimentation. Florence mimicked an accordion and playfully jumped at Holly to give her a hug.

‘Right,’ Collins said. ‘That’s cool. Do they hurt or anything?’ She moved to the side to take a better look at Holly’s wings.

"they're cool. They ache pretty bad sometimes but flying is cool. Florence, knock it off!" Holly said before casually elbowing Florence in the stomach. He stopped hugging Holly and sulked off to a nearby patch of clovers. He mimicked a harmonica.

Collins glanced at Florence, frowning slightly. She now saw why he’d been very sorry for carrying her. ‘So, uh..’

"so, have you seen any of them?" Holly asked. She looked over at the building and targeted some rooms. She noticed the open window. Florence started to mimick the sound of his music box.

‘Any of what? The other experiments?’ Collins asked, following her gaze then looking back at her.

"yeah, or the corpses. Unless they ate them, bones and all." Holly said. Florence looked over to them and mimicked a ferret's chirping.

‘I’ve seen a few. Creatures, not corpses,’ Collins added. ‘Some of them are pretty aggressive.’

"which ones? Did you see number one? It gives me the chills. It's been five years and it still scares me. Florence, could you stop that? Where'd you even learn that sound." Holly said. "I went to the zoo!" Florence said proudly.

Collins smiled slightly at the happy tone in Florence’s voice. ‘I saw Jen, and Riley. And the green dog thing, I forgot its name,’ she said.
