“Well what?! She does have a happy ending, right?!”

Eli sighed. “If she doesn’t have a happy ending so help me I will… bug you. Forever.”

'You'll bug me?'

“Yeah. I’ll annoy you FOREVER.” Eli threatened, trying to look intimidating. “So… take that.”

'Really?' Callum asked, raising an eyebrow, though he was smirking.

Eli glared. “Shush, I’m trying to be threatening and all that.”

'No, please don't bug me for the rest of my insignificant existence,' Callum said with a mock innocent expression.

Eli rolled his eyes. “Oh stop, as if your life is insignificant.”

'Eh,' Callum shrugged. 'Should I be more over the top?' He put a hand to his forehead and said in a dramatic voice, 'Oh woe is me!'

“Oh shut up, I’M the one who’s supposed to be annoying YOU, not the other way around.”

'Sorry, my mistake,' Callum said sarcastically with a laugh.

Eli couldn’t help but laugh along. “Shush, if the teacher finds us talking she’ll go crazy!”
