Eli followed down the long flight of stairs.

Callum and Eli's mum's were in the living room.

"Hi guys." Eli said happily, standing by their mom. "What were you guys talking about while me and Callum were gone?"

'Oh, you know, the usual,' Callum's mum said. 'How one of you told Miss (whatever Eli's last name is) that this place exists.' She looked at Callum sternly.

Eli winced. "Sorry." They mumbled. "That's my fault."

'Don't worry about it,' Claudia said.

Eli gave a shrug, staring at their shoelaces.
