Adrian left the room then returned a few minutes later

"Yay... sleepover." Jewel said with a small clap.

Adrian gave a small smile. "It isn't ideal but it'll have to do."

"We'll have to have a better sleepover once I get out of this stupid chair." she said.

Adrian nodded. "We will. Any sleepover is better than this chair."

"Agreed."

Adrian sat on the floor next to her.

Jewel wondered if she could rock back and forth in the chair for fun.

"No," Adrian said.

"Why not? I have nothing else to do."

"You can talk to me," he said.

"Fine, what do you want to talk about?" she asked.

Adrian shrugged.
