"You mean parents," Megan said.

"Yes, and um...no," Nathan said.

"Well, not exactly," Megan said, thinking about it.

"He feed me," Nathan said. "But he didn't make me."

"All he did was feed you?" Megan asked.

"He protected me," Nathan said. "But mostly yes, he feed me."

"Does every demon have a caretaker?" Megan asked.

Nathan shook his head energetically. "No. Only some. We rarely see mommies and daddies, they're usually not nice to us. But I love my mommy. She is big and beautiful!"
He stretched his arms out wide to signify how large his mother was, although his arms did not reach very far. -
(They'd reach a little far. He's only ahead shorter than Megan.)
"That's nice," Megan said. -
But I want his arms to be a little on the smol side))
"Do you have a big beautiful mommy too?" Nathan asked curiously. -
"I wouldn't call her big, but she is very pretty," Megan said.

"I want to meet her!" Nathan said. "Although she can't see me."

"She'll be back in a few days," Megan said. "Same with my dad."

"Is he mean?" Nathan asked.

"'Course not," Megan said.
