''Hm,'' Elbereth brought her knees to her chest, resting her chin on her clothed knee. ''Give your life to them? We aren't in a war, and if they're so loved they have no problem with assassins,'' Elbereth mentioned, her brows creased in slight annoyance for such connection. ''As well as the High Elves, the Elves are too afraid of entering these sinful lands,'' She mumbled, rubbing at her temples from an aching headache the alcohol formed.
-
Dorvakin said "My good princess, you are not a warrior, thus you would not understand how much our leader means to us. Without him we have no one to lead us. And while you are afraid now, I've heard it's only a matter of time before you try to take us over."
-
Elbereth stared over at him, her brows creased as his words were true. ''Then what good does it do if we sit here, sharing a drink and chatting away? We are enemies, no?'' Elbereth questioned, her eyes gazing down at her emerald rings
-
Dorvakin said "Because right now, I really don't care about fighting. Besides that, you said it yourself, you're being hunted."
-
''I may be getting hunted but, we do not need to spend quality tine together,'' Elbereth mentioned, her fingers running over the smooth surface of the emerald. She sat in silence for a moment, listening to the wind's hushed whispers. Elbereth drank her whiskey, drowning whatever remained. Her tender fingers ran over the surface of her scars, delicately. ''Ugh, god,'' She mumbled, hunching over as she could feel the alcohol taking it's rushing effect.
-
Dorvakin kept quite because he was now running out of excuses and didn't want to give away his secret. He just kept drinking.
-
''Do you have any alcohol? Besides the whiskey I gave you,'' Elbereth hummed. ''I could use something stronger,'' Elbereth mumbled, as she continued to drink the alcohol. ''So, I can remember that I'm a saint and not a sinner,'' Elbereth hissed, her brows furrowed. All she wanted was to forget the night, forget coming here and breaking the law of their Elvish ways.
-
Dorvakin said "Well unless you feel like going into my village, you're out of luck in that department. I didn't bring anything else to drink besides water. Also I don't feel like being arrested today."
-
Elbereth groaned as she leaned against the tree. ''Out of options then,'' Elbereth groaned as she continued to drink her whiskey. She glanced over at the Drow, her brows creased. ''You're rather handsome, you do know that, right?'' Elbereth drank her whiskey, at the very least what's left over. ''Even if you are a Drow,'' Elbereth said, turning the pouch upside down. Little drops escaped the hole of the bottle but, that was all. Brows furrowed she curled herself around her clock, looking up at the canopies.
-
Dorvakin blushed slightly when he heard that. He wasn't sure if Elbereth was drunk or not but he said "You're not too bad looking yourself, even though you're a High Elf."
-
Elbereth laughed at his words, the bottom of her palm resting against her forehead as her fingers were tangled in her hair. ''I can't believe I just said that, god I should never drink again,'' Elbereth mumbled as she blamed the alcohol.
-
Dorvakin laughed too. "That would probably be a good idea." he said. Scout came close to Elbereth and started to sniff.
-
Elbereth leaned back away from the Dire wolf, pulled her legs against her chest. She kept her hands away from the wolf. ''Um, is this okay?'' Elbereth questioned, as she swallowed a lump in her throat. She felt rather uncomfortable, especially after killing the Dire wolf earlier that day.
-
Dorvakin said "I think Scout is just inspecting you. He'll lay down next to you if he likes you." Sure enough, Scout lay down close to Elbereth wanting her to pet him.
-
''I-I guess he likes me?'' Elbereth mumbled, her hand slowly inching closer to the Dire wolf. Once touching the Dire wolf, without Scout attacking, she began to pet the wolf. ''Hm,'' She hummed with a pleasant smile on her lips. ''Scout's pretty cute but, how did you tame a Dire wolf? Must've taken quite some time,'' Elbereth said, turning her gaze to Dorvakin.
