''Is it really that surprising? We're not all that bad?'' Elbereth laughed, drying her hand on her cloak. ''I just began to think that Drows weren't that bad but, if I were to interfere, it'll only cause more trouble,'' Elbereth said, sitting back, leaning on her hand.
-
Dorvakin said "That's true. I, myself, am starting to think High Elves aren't as bad as I've been told my whole life.
-
''Do you think maybe, I should talk to my parents, come to an agreement between the Drows and the High Elves? I'm starting to think this is all crazy,'' Elbereth said, crossing her legs. ''We, as a species, thinking we're better than each other, it's ridiculous,'' Elbereth added, looking up towards the sky.
-
Dorvakin said "Yeah, I hardly see any differences between us and a peace agreement would be a good idea. However even if your parents would agree to that, I doubt Chief Potentate would. He really doesn't like High Elves."
-
''I figured but, even so, my parents they aim for expansion currently, the Drows are in the way of that,'' Elbereth hummed. ''The only way anything can change if the civilians' attitude about each species. I doubt that'll change, Drows and High Elves have been hating each other for centuries,'' Elbereth said, biting her bottom lip.
-
Dorvakin said "Yeah, it would take a lot to get over that many years of hatred."
-
''I hope that eventually we'll overcome the hatred, at the very least come to a mutual agreement,'' Elbereth said, tugging at her cloak.
-
Dorvakin said "Yeah." He stood up and said "I gotta get back to my post. Hopefully I'll see you again sometime."
-
''Perhaps,'' Elbereth mumbled, standing with him. ''I must return to my mother and father, see what they'll have me do today,'' Elbereth sighed, running a hand through her hair. ''Thank you for the blanket, with the ale and as well as helping me hide from the other High Elves, I owe you exactly three favors,'' Elbereth hummed, a smile to her lips as she held up three fingers.
-
Dorvakin smiled and said "You don't owe me anything. But you're welcome."
-
''Of course, I do, Dorvakin, you helped me and I want to help you when the time comes,'' Elbereth said, lowering her hand. As she looked past the trees, towards the direction of her home.
-
Dorvakin walked through the trees and went back to his post.
-
Sighing, Elbereth began walking through the sea of trees, approaching the High Elf's territory to return home.
-
Dorvakin got back to his post and kept looking around.
-
Once back home, Elbereth glanced back towards the direction where Dorvakin had gone. She hummed in delight, her brows furrowed as thought about the male Drow.
