Elbereth broke pieces of grass on the ground the water at times levitating off the ground and soon to become droplets on the grass. The grass she ripped to pieces returned in growth as the magical energy was little and bearable for her. Other times, it would cause mayhem. Though focused on the broken pieces of grass, Elbereth became tired. Closing and opening her eyes far slower than normal, as the sleeping wolf beside her caused her to feel comfortable, to feel safe even.
-
Dorvakin landed and changed back to normal. He walked back to Elebereth and said "Alright, here's the ale."
-
''Thank you,'' Elbereth said, as she pulled at her cloak. She shifted as she placed her bracelet on her wrists. With shaking fingers Elbereth could feel her foot lifting from the round. Her eyes darted to her raised foot to find a rock underneath it. Quickly, with her nervousness increasing, Elbereth slipped her rings on feeling at peace. Coughing into her hand, Elbereth accepted the ale her hands grasping tightly on the bottle of ale. ''Um, thank you again,'' Elbereth said, clearing her throat.
-
Dorvakin said "You're welcome." and patted Elebereth on her shoulder. He looked at the moon and marveled at how it shined in the night.
-
Elbereth hummed as she lifted her foot off the rock, and crossed her legs. She took a sip of the ale, and directed her gaze to the bottle she held within her grasp. With the nature's songs playing softly, the sleeping wolf beside her, and Dorvakin next to her, Elbereth found a place of comfort and security. She closed her eyes for just a moment, allowing her guard down as she began to drift off into a blissful sleep.
-
Dorvakin saw her and Scout asleep. He didn't really want to get caught with Elebereth so he woke up Scout and carefully got him away from her. Dorvakin gave her a blanket so she wouldn't be cold and she wouldn't be noticed and left her there to walk home.
-
Elbereth woken from her rest due to the peering sun's light. She opened her eyes, feeling some sort of fabric over her cloak. Her lips curved into a smile at the presence of the blanket. With the blanket in her hands, she surely have to return it. Elbereth thought out her plan of returning the blanket back to Dorvakin. She heard some rustling as she prepared herself to leave. It was some grumbles, almost like someone speaking to another. With that, Elbereth hid behind the tree, and remain stiff for quite some time. As the noises ceased, Elbereth bolted for the Borders, wishing to return home as soon as possible.
-
Dorvakin woke up in his bed and rubbed his eyes. He put on his uniform and started to walk to his post.
-
With that Elbereth walked along the Borders, pullin down at her hood occasionally. After some time, Elbereth sat just in her territory but, close to the Drow's. She swayed her foot from side to side, hoping to see Dorvakin soon. It was near where they met but, a little ways down the path. In her hands, she smoothed the fabric of the blanket, the material smooth against her fingertips.
-
Dorvakin wasn't expecting to see Elebereth but once he got to his post and looked though his spyglass, he saw her near her borders just sitting there. He could have just ignored her but instead he left and went to her.
-
Once Elbereth saw Dorvakin coming, she scrambled to her feet, the blanket held tightly in her hands. She licked he lips nervously, gazing at the blanket. Elbereth took a sigh, and directed her gaze back to the Drow, brows furrowed.
-
Dorvakin said "Why are you here? I would have thought you went home."
-
''I only came to return the blanket,'' Elbereth said, arms outstretched as she handed over the blanket. ''I would also like to say thank you for the ale, and the blanket. I must've been bothersome whilst drunk, I don't drink often! I'm sorry if I caused any trouble,'' Elbereth said, swallowing down her pride. She was used to people running to receive something for her, or take care of her when requested to and didn't quite understand how she was meant to treat others who weren't her servants.
-
Dorvakin took his blanket back and said "Thank you and you're welcome. You actually weren't that bad, you were rather nice. Thank you for sharing your whiskey."
-
''Ah, of course, you're very welcome,'' Elbereth hummed as she heard distanced shouting. With the calls for the maiden growing louder, Elbereth's lips curled into a smile. ''I'm afraid, I'll have to go,'' She began. ''Farewell, Dorvakin,'' Elbereth hummed as she began walking away. She followed the shouting, surely from her friends who remained up late in search for her. The path was rather easy to remember and didn't take her long for her to make some distance between her and the borders.
