"He was upset that you got hurt is all, but Jule and your little friend took him to the lake, I think. That'll put a smile back on his little face." Rayne laughed and sighed a bit while she leaned against a wall in her shelter, resting her eyes. "I may have to retire soon..join the elders in all their storytelling and relaxation."
"I don't think so." Jule laughed lightly, hoping he didn't have pink-haired children. "Aniel's hair is very natural, although none of us are sure why it's like that. Most of us are dark-haired, natural dark colors, and some dirty blonde here and there. But this little guy is special. Too bad we can't figure out why.."
"More pups?" Aniel was completely distracted by that alone, excited about having more children around, despite the fact that he'd be so much older than them. -
"..Lynna? Oh, alright. I'm sure he's fine, then." She smiled, knowing for sure that her little boy was in good hands. Lynna had always had a knack for taking care of children, and she was glad. Nevaeh frowned at the mention of Rayne retiring. "Who'll take your place? I know Aniel wants to, but he's a bit young yet.."
"But you'll love them either way, right, Jule?" Lynna asked, squinting her eyes at him. She looked at Aniel, grinning, leaning over to kiss the side of his head. "Yeah. More pups. And I heard your momma wants to have some more pretty soon. And if we bring Cora here, well, her baby will be human, but yeah.." -
"All will be fine, do not worry. I'm sure someone else who knows the art will take over. I may not be gray, I may not look like those dogs with a lot of skin, but I am old and tired. I can't stay awake for long periods of time anymore and if I exhaust myself trying, I'm of no help to anyone." Rayne sighed deeply as she thought, thinking about what she should do.
"Of course I would love them. No matter what. They would come from you after all." Jule smiled and adjusted her on his back after she kissed the young boy. She would make a fine mother to their pups when they managed to have them.
Aniel nodded lightly, beginning to undress when they reached the lake. "I know momma does. But papa's waiting until she can go through the change first, I think. I don't know why but I think it's cause she's upset that she's going through it and it makes her tired. He doesn't want the puppies to be tired in her belly." -
"I know. I'm sorry. When I was little, after my brother and his family.. Died, I went to live with the doctor and his wife in our village. They were pretty old, but they had fifteen children, five of which were still living in that house. That woman.. Well, you remind me a lot of her." Nevaeh shrugged, closing her eyes, leaning back.
"I know." Lynna grinned, laughing at Aniel's explanation. "Mhm. Something like that, puppy. I think she'll be ready soon. Perhaps you'll even get to name one of them." -
"Well, I hope she was a woman that made you feel comfortable. I don't know how I'd feel if I reminded you of someone you didn't like." She chuckled lightly then moved to find a comfortable place to lie down. "You're head's probably hurting. Let's get some shut eye while we wait for Rhonen to get back."
"I think," Aniel began, putting a finger to his chin in thought, "I want a brother. And I want to name him Kazfiel. I.. I don't know why, but I want him to have that name." The white-haired pup told her seriously. He then grinned and ran into the water like the overjoyed, naked child he was. -
"She was.. She was great." Nevaeh nodded in response, letting herself drift off. It wasn't long before she did, and fell into a dream. It was a strange one. Molly and Ella were there, in the camp, but they were naked, and covered in dirt and vines.
"Kazfiel. Um.. Okay," She laughed, hugging closer to Jule. "Kazfiel. Where did he come up with that one? I don't think I've heard it before," Lynna laughed, shaking her head. -
The old shewolf smiled at her and shut her own eyes, drifting off herself, but sleeping ratherly lightly in order to listen for Rhonen to return.
"Kazfiel.. That's not a good name at all. I think Aniel only likes it because it's similar to his own, but its meaning is not a good one. His mother was very into the spiritual realm. She liked to learn about angels, demons, deities from all around the world. We're pretty sure that's what got her killed..." Jule sighed, not finding much joy in their time spent together anymore. He helped his mate off his back, moving to undress. "She always brought what she learned back to that boy.." -
"Yes, that's a.." Lynna trailed off, seeming to be distracted by something for a few minutes, before she turned her attention back to Jule. "You know, if I have this baby.. What do you want to name it? I've never thought about names before, but it seems important, doesn't it?" She turned her head up, looking at the sky. The sun seemed to be spinning, even though, in reality, it was still. A wave of nausea hit her, and she sat down, pulling her knees up.
(Jule and Lynna can have a babe later. I'm mean, so the horrors of an ectopic pregnancy are gonna be real.) -
(You're horrible
They're all gonna freak out while Rayne and the other elders are like 'calm your tits we got this')
"Depends on if it's a boy or a girl. I'm not sure what I would name them." Jule hummed in thought, looking at his mate and moving to sit beside her. She looked rather dazed, so he placed a hand on her forehead. "Something wrong, Lynna? Do you need me to get anything for you and the pup?" He wanted to make sure everything went well for her over the next three months. -
(Do they really got it though because ectopic pregnancies can be fatal and have to be aborted you know)
Lynns put the back of her hand over her mouth, and shrugged, giving Jule a faint smile to try and tell him she was fine. Of course, she wasn't. She hardly ever got sick, but when she did, it was normally pretty bad, and she could already feel it coming on. "Um," She mumbled, closing her eyes, "I think I want to go lay down, love. Don't feel too hot." -
(They can only do with what they have)
"You feel hot to me." He told her as he removed his hand from her forehead, not understanding the phrase as humans knew it. The werewolf then moved his hand to her lower belly, gently feeling for their pup. Of course it was far too early to know for sure, but still he felt for any abnormalities. -
"Yeah, uh.. It's an expression, Jule." She put a hand over his, sighing. "I'm sure it's all fine. I'm just getting a little sick is all. Um, I think.. If I'm careful, I can walk back on my own, so you can stay here with Aniel," Lynna started to get up, though, and sat back down, instantly hit with a wave of dizziness.
-
"O-Oh.." He flushed, clearly embarrassed by his ignorance. "It's all right. Let me help you." Jule insisted as he whistled for Aniel to come back and moved to pick her up. "You can't move on your own, not on that leg. I ca bring Aniel back later, or maybe Rhonen will once he gets back. Come on, snow pup. We'll see how your mama's doin'."
-
"Mm. Baby, I can walk," She started to protest, placing a hand on his arm to ask to be put back down. Lynna knew he was just trying to help, but she didn't like feeling so useless, like she had to depend on somebody else. Of course, it probably was better that he carried her, seeing as how she could barely stand. With a sigh, she moved her hand from his arm and to the collar of his shirt, pulling him down for a kiss.
-
"I've got you. Don't worry about it." Jule smiled and chuckled when she pulled him in for a kiss. He held her close, waiting for Aniel to shake off and get dressed. Once the little boy was at his side, the older werewolf lead the way back to camp, taking Lynna to Rayne to get her checked out.
The old shewolf was upset that her nap was disturbed, but still got up to get a look at Lynna. "Really warm. How are you feeling? Any specific symptoms or problems?"
