"We'll help you every step of the way." Rayne told her with a smile and sent Jule on his way to get what they needed.
The werewolf reluctantly let go of his mate, giving her a loving kiss before taking off. "Hold tight, Lynna. I'll be back soon." He assured her as he made his way out of the camp.
Rhonen, who'd been on the hunt for quite awhile, enjoying the peace and sounds of nature. But at the smell of his mate's blood, he perked his wolf head up, holding something that he'd caught for dinner in his mouth, and began to follow the scent as best he could. As upset as he'd been before, he still loved Nevaeh dearly and would do anything to protect her from danger. -
*affecting
Lynna nodded, and returned the kissing, sitting down as she waited for him. She was a bit tired still, so she figured she would take the chance to rest. She slid down against the wall where Nevaeh had been, closing her eyes, laughing a bit. "There wouldn't be, by chance, another puppy that needs adopting, huh?"
Nevaeh waited for him, sitting at the base of the last tree she had marked. He'd probably be a bit upset, but seeing him would be worth it. While she waited, she took a thick piece of light wood, and carved the bark off, planning to carve Aniel's name into it later, when she had time. She'd add the names of their other children when they happened, and give it as a gift to Rhonen at some point, when he was older. -
"Things happen. I'm sure there will be another orphan eventually. Aniel was an interesting case actually. His father disappeared without a trace and his mother killed by hunters while she was out getting him food. Poor boy. Couldn't find anyone willing to take him until Nevaeh came along." Rayne hummed as she got her tools ready to make the concoction. "You can sleep if you want. It'll be awhile before Jule can find what I sent him to get."
The werewolf lightly ran, growing closer to his lover's scent as he followed her blood. He caught sight of the red on the bark of trees and began to slow to a sort of trot. He cautiously approached Nevaeh, checking to make sure no one else was around. Of couse, when he saw she was fine and mostly unharmed, he dropped what was in his mouth and rested his head on her good thigh with a whine. -
(..Cora's going to die they can have her baby yes)
"Mhm.. His father. What was his father's name?" She asked out of curiosity, closing her eyes to try and relax. She would sleep, perhaps until the next morning, as she was purely exhausted.
"Oh, no," Nevaeh huffed at him, sticking the knife into the tree behind her. She shoved his head off, wrinkling her nose at him. "I'm still upset with you," She said, partially joking, and partially not. "So, until you do something to make up for being rude.. No sweet stuff. Anyways. Your son wants fish, and I don't know how to catch them. And he's also upset that you ran off. You know his past.." She trailed off, petting the fur on top of his head to show that she wasn't completely mad. "Let's go home." -
(omf no stahp)
"His name... Hmm.. It started with a 'B', but I can't quite remember. I'll ask our chief sometime. He might remember better than I do." She told the girl honestly, glancing over at her with a smile. "Rest up, dear. You've had a rough day."
Rhonen let out another whine when he was shoved away, ears flattening against his head as he stared up at her apologetically. At the mention of fish, he gently bit one of her sleeves, tugging to lead her towards the river. If his Aniel wanted fish, he'd catch the boy some fish. And with Nevaeh there, she could help him carry what he caught back. -
(No because if she dies all the blood could cause Molly and Ella to snap and there could be huuuuge problems)
Lynna nodded at Rayne's order, getting comfy on her side before dozing off. She had a strange dream, one of blood splattered on white snow, though she didn't see who's blood it was. There were deep footprints in the snow, and, farther ahead, they turned into large paw prints. Three other sets joined the first one as she continued to follow it, wanting to know what it lead to.
Nevaeh followed him, pulling her sleeve away from his mouth in favor of placing a hand on his head, not wanting bite holes in the back of her neck. She wondered how they were to catch fish without poles, hooks, and bait. -
(They'd probably smell what they were long before that happens)
Rhonen picked up what he'd caught then lead the way to the river. The feeling of his mate's hand on his head warm and comforting. He knew humans used tools to catch fish, but werewolves like himself had learned to make use with what they had. Their mouths. He dropped what was in his mouth and quietly trotted over to the water, peering in to see where the fish were. The moment his eye caught sight of one, he submerged nearly his whole head underwater, mouth open to bite down. -
(No like they'll know but
But at the smell of that much blood, they'll loose control)
Nevaeh watched him carefully, a little bit scared that he would fall into the river at first. Could werewolves drown? Perhaps in their human state, but she wasn't sure. Still, busting their heads up on the rocks further down wouldn't be any fun. She knew that he wouldn't fall, though, and waited for him to come back up with a fish. -
(I got it)
Rhonen came back up, nose wrinkled as the fish wiggled in his mouth, swatting at him with its tail. He dropped it on dry land, far enough away so it wouldn't try to flop back into the water. The werewolf then repeated the action until he had three nice sized fish for his mate and adopted son. He looked up at Nevaeh then nodded towards the fish, asking her to carry them back. -
(and kill someone--)
Nevaeh picked the fish up, having taken her shirt off to carry them. Her corset still covered everything that needed to be covered, so that was okay. -
(jegus)
Rhonen gave her a smile that looked a bit funny on his wolf face and picked up the animal he'd caught earlier again, walking beside her as they made their way back to camp. Aniel was more than pleased to see the two of them back and together, hugging around his adoptive father and snuggling into his fur. "I can't wait to be able to turn into a wolf, too!" -
The huntress, as she sat the fish down, grinned at Aniel's excitement. "Oh, don't you grow up too fast, my little snowball." She ruffled his hair, biting her lip as she looked at Rhonen. "You.. You're not going to cook them whole, are you? You're going to clean and gut them, right?" Scales were absolutely nasty, and though Nevaeh could skin and clean almost any other animal, fish were not her strong hold.
-
Rhonen changed back, lifting Aniel into his arms as he did so and kissing his cheek. "Yeah, I can take care of the fish and get it all cleaned and cooked." He told his mate, moving over to wrap an arm around her waist, pulling her close. "I'm sorry, Nevaeh.. I was rude and I should have trusted you more. I'm just worried about your health is all. Maybe being a wolf will make you hungrier." He teased, giving her a loving kiss.
-
"Maybe," She hummed, kissing him back. "And, I guess I forgive you. Go take care of the fish, love." The day hadn't gone exactly as she had planned, not with her getting caught in another trap, and the fight, but she was sure tomorrow would be better. "Oh! Wait, Rhonen.. You never did talk to your parents about bringing my girls here.."
-
Rhonen nodded, setting their snow pup down and gathering up the fish he'd caught. "I'll talk to them and get dinner ready. You just relax and spend some time with our son." He kissed her cheek, hurrying off to find his father and chief. He knew speaking with the alpha wolf would be difficult, even if they were father and son. Alphas just had that dominant aura that practically radiated from them, and if you weren't the Alpha, that aura could surely be felt.
