(Ehhh...)
His brows furrowed in annoyance. He knew what she'd done had probably shaken her, but she hadn't eaten a single thing, not even one little berry, all morning. "Fine. Whatever. I'll eat just eat alone with Aniel again then take him out for some hunting lessons myself." Rhonen didn't quite understand how human's could easily lose their appetites, nor did he know just how rude he was sounding when he spoke in such a tone. Food was food. When you're hungry, you're hungry. That's how he saw things.
"No, not really. My lower back is a bit sore, but it doesn't bother me really. We're fast healers, so it takes a lot of stress for us to have any serious muscle pain. That's how we can outrun humans. When you guys get tired or sore, we still have plenty to go on for miles." -
"..Hey. Don't be like that, Rhonen. I'm not hungry, but you don't have to be rude." She pulled away from him, looking him over. "If you're gonna act like that, I'll eat. And I'm taking Aniel out. You can go screw yourself if you're going to cope an attitude," She snapped back, a little started by his serious attitude change. She started off towards the camp, leaving his behind, not caring to see if he followed or not. She loved him, but Nevaeh was mad.
"Mhm. That's good. I, myself, could totally use and ice pack between my thighs. But I think I'll live," She smiled. -
"Maybe it really is better that we don't have pups. You'll probably starve them before they're even born!" Rhonen growled, tearing off in a different direction. He was feral again, running out into the woods to be alone and perhaps hunt something for dinner later. He knew Aniel would be upset that they were arguing over something so minor, but Rhonen was sick of Nevaeh's poor eating habits. She wouldn't be fit for pregnancy if she didn't regular her meals and eat more often throughout the day.
"I'm sure the cold water will help with some of that." Jule blushed lightly, taking it as a compliment to him that she was sore. "It..It at least felt good last night, right?" -
"If that's what you want, f---ing fine!" She yelled after him, storming off. She didn't go back to camp, of course, but tore off on the path that she thought would lead to the lake. She didn't understand how he could be so unreasonable. Of course she would eat regularly when she was carrying, she would be hungry then. He didn't seem to understand that Nevaeh was used to skipping meals, and didn't need to eat three times away to be perfectly fine. In her anger, she had strayed off the path a bit, quickly noticing that though her surroundings were familiar, this certainly wasn't where she wanted to go. She turned around to retrace her steps, and, before she knew what was happening, she was up in the air, hanging by her foot. Of course.. She remembered, faintly, that this was the very first trap she had set. That was the last thing she remembered before the swinging brought her right into a tree, not only bashing her head pretty badly, but also lodging a stick straight through her thigh. It missed her bone completely, but the pain was still insane. She didn't get to scream, though, because she was already swinging back, hitting her head into the tree a second time, this time knocking her out.
"I hope so. And yes. It was good. Very good," Lynna assured him, pressing a kiss to the back of his neck. -

"I'm glad I made it so good for you." Jule let out a teasing growl at the kiss to his neck. "Oh~ I like those." He cooed but was cut off from their lovey dovey moment when he heard a sound not far from them. There was some snapping of branches and something cutting through air. He carefully set his mate down to relax against a tree trunk and kissed her cheek. "I'll be right back." The werewolf assured. "Sounded like something got caught in a trap again." With that, Jule was off to investigate what he'd heard, unsure of where exactly to go because he couldn't hear anything anymore.
After awhile of searching the area, he found Nevaeh dangling from the tree, out cold of course, and hurried cut her down while watching for any other hunters' traps. "Good thing she can heal faster now.." He muttered to himself while hoisting her over his shoulder and heading back to his mate. -
Lynna waited patiently for him, a little worried that he would get stuck in something. She knew he was smart, though, and tried not to worry. When Lynna saw him coming back with someone over his shoulder, she furrowed her brow, frowning. He he drew closer, she realized it was Nevaeh. She looked fine from a distance, but up close, the deep gash on her head and the stick through her leg made Lynna shudder. "What.. You should take her to that one old lady, shouldn't you? Is she breathing? She kinda looks dead, Jule," She muttered, letting a little worry creep into her voice.
-
"She'll be fine. She'll be sore with a headache, but she's a wolf like us now." He smiled and adjusted the woman on his shoulder. "I'll be right back, again. Call out if you need me. I'll try to get back as soon as I can." Once more, Jule left his mate, hurrying back to camp to get Nevaeh the help she needed. Of course, Aniel freaked out, cried, yelled, all the things a child would do when their mother or father was hurt. Rayne, needing peace and quiet, sent the pup out with Jule. The werewolf didn't want to babysit, and he doubted his mate wanted to either, but still took Aniel with him. "As soon as Rhonen gets back, send him to the lake." He told Rayne before scooping up the white-haired boy and taking him to Lynna.
-
Nevaeh started to stir at Aniel's crying, but didn't fully wake until he was gone. She was disoriented, and tried to sit up, but her head seemed to swim when she tried to. "s---," She sighed, looking over and Rayne, realizing what had happened. The gash in her forehead was already healing, but the stick in her leg pretty much wasn't going to heal. "..Is Rhonen back? We.. Well, he decided to be a jackass and ran off, so.. Is he back?"
Lynna frowned when Jule approached, once again, this time carrying a much small person. Aniel, if she remembered how Nevaeh had described him. "Aw, what's wrong, puppy?" -
"No not yet. He being a stubborn little butt to ya?" Rayne asked, knowing Rhonen's attitude wasn't always as calm and peaceful as he wished it could be. He had a mouth on him, for sure, and was as stubborn as his father. "You might want to hold still. I need to pull this out, so I can clean it." She told the young woman, gripping the branch.
Jule set Aniel down, petting his head while the boy wiped his eyes. "He's upset his mama's hurt is all. No one knows where the hell Rhonen went off to either. So we'll just take little Aniel here to the lake with us and watch him until one of them is able get him." He crouched down to help Lynna onto his back again while the pup stayed close to them. -
"Yeah, I guess you could say that. He's just being dramatic," She sighed, waving it off. Nevaeh glanced down at the stick, and then quickly away, nodding. She placed her hands on either side of herself, waiting, knowing it was going to hurt.
"..Mhm, I thought you were Aniel. You know, the other day, your momma wouldn't shut up about you. She always gets like that about things she loves," Lynna hummed, grinning at him, a little bit jealous that Nevaeh got a kid so quickly. -
"Sounds like him all right." The older woman laughed and swiftly pulled the branch from her leg, quickly cleaning the wound and pulling out any noticeable splinters. Her body, as it healed, would take care of the rest. Especially with the cycle of the full moon beginning. "This will take some time to heal, and don't worry about infection. Your body will take care of that."
Aniel looked up at her, his cheek turning red. "Momma talks about me..? What did she say?" The pup knew it wasn't anything bad based on what Lynna said, but he still was curious to know. Jule couldn't help the laugh that came from him at how eager the child was to know what his own adopted mother thought of him. -
Nevaeh took in a sharp breath when the stick was pulled out, but nodded, smiling. She was a bit worried that Rhonen still hadn't returned. "Can you.. I need to see if someone can go out and get him. I don't know where he went, but I'm sure someone could.." She trailed off, looking at the she-wolf.
"Well, I think she called you a 'Little snowball' at some point. Said that you were so cute, and so smart, and basically expressed her undying adoration about you," She joked, shaking her head at him. "Silly." -
"He'll make his way home eventually. Don't worry. He's probably just on a hunt right now, so it'd be best not to disturb him." She told the younger woman while she cleaned her thigh. "He'll be fine. He's smart for as stubborn as he is."
"'Little snowball'?" Aniel questioned, tilting his head in thought. He didn't know that she'd given him that nickname because of his hair, so it confused him.
"I'm pretty sure she was talking about this fluffy white head of yours." Jule teased the boy, ruffling his hair. A whine escaping the pup as he pouted at the older wolf. -
The huntress nodded, looking away. "Um.. Where's Aniel? I thought he was with you, and I swear I heard him earlier.. Crying. Was he crying? Is he alright?" Nevaeh couldn't help but worry that her baby was hurt, or upset, and she didn't like that at all.
"Mhm. It's because of your hair. Which, by the way, is really cool. Who knows, Jule, maybe one of our babies will have bright pink hair~!" She giggled at the thought, shaking her head. "Did you know, Aniel, that me and Jule are gonna have a baby?" It wasn't for sure yet, but she was already certain it would happen.
