He nodded. "What's this show about?"
-
Ella shrugged. "I don't know. But it's better than just sitting here." She said, relaxing into the cushions and munching on the popcorn. A rather intimate kissing scene began on the tv and Ella blushed, awkwardly turning her gaze to the popcorn in her hand.
-
He smirked a bit, glanced at her, then over to the kitchen light, which he'd left on. He stood and walked over to turn it off. Could Ella tell Rory was still anxious?
-
Ella watched him wander between rooms. She wondered if he was as worried as she was, but he'd seemed so calm before...She looked up at him questioningly, but was a little afraid to ask if he was actually nervous.
-
He went to the bathroom afterward, and then checked the patio once again. He opened the door, stuck his head out, and sniffed the air a few times before returning to the couch. "She's gone."
-
Ella sighed heavily, physically relieved. "Thank god..." She mumbled to herself. "That's good." She said a little louder.
-
He seemed to be able to relax on the couch now. He even found himself drifting off a little.
-
Ella noticed him drifting off and smiled softly, holding her cushion out to him. She layed back down and yawned softly, starting to fall asleep herself.
-
He woke up an hour or so later, and found the human sleeping peacefully. Rory lifted her up, trying not to wake her, and carried her to her own room.
-
Ella unconsciously snuggled up to him in her sleep as he carried her. She mumbled something incoherent before falling silent again.
-
He tensed up a little as she snuggled closer to him. She was so warm compared to him, and he wasn't entirely sure why she was comfortable in that situation. He set her on her bed and left, shutting the door partially. He glanced back at her once more, smiled at how young and relaxed she looked, and returned to the living room.
-
Ella rolled over on the bed and mumbled again in her sleep. A little while later she woke up and blinked, glancing around. She didn't remember going to her room, or falling asleep for that matter.
-
He'd shut off the TV, but couldn't fall back asleep yet. Something about what she'd said earlier, about not drowning in cash. That worried him a little. And since she was helping him, he figured he could help her.
-
Ella stepped out of her room and saw him on the couch. "Hey...how did I get in my room? I don't remember." She said with a slight yawn. "Sorry for falling asleep on you like that, I guess I was a little tired.
-
*tired."
