He watched her lean against him once again and continued to play with her hair.

Ella layed her head on his shoulder again and sighed contentedly. It didn't seem to bother him that she was so close, she noticed with a small smile. She glanced up at his face, once again admiring his handsome features.

He gently kissed her nose, smiling a little.

Ella's face flushed scarlet at the gesture. It was small, a fleeting kiss. Probably platonic. But the brief feeling of his lips grazing over her skin was enough to make her blush.

He wanted to do it again, and maybe a little lower... but that could wait.

Ella looked up at him and pursed her lips, debating whether or not she could kiss him. If he reacted badly their whole relationship could fall apart. Their delicate situation made Ella a little afraid to act. She didn't want to make him angry or upset.

"You know... whenever you're ready... we should probably start." He smiled a little, despite feeling guilty about temporarily abandoning his clan.

"Right." She decided against it with a little sigh of defeat and sat up. "So, where exactly am I taking you? I mean I know I have to say I caught you and everything, and pretend to be a hunter, but then what?" She assumed he meant starting on training her to act like a hunter.

"Uh, on the other side of the city, a few miles out, have you ever seen those three abandoned warehouses all right next to each other? One looks like the roof has caged in?"

Ella nodded, a faint memory of the buildings popping into her head. "Yeah, I know where those are. Is that where I'm taking you?" She was a little worried about what happened afterwards. What if Rory really got captured and couldn't get out? What if she couldn't pull off acting like a hunter?
