Saphirre gave him a desperate look as he walked out the door before turning shyly to Erin. She kept her eyes downcast. "I-I'm not very hungry so you don't have to cook for me." She said quickly. She was hungry, but she had the candy bar, and she didn't want to give Erin extra work.

Erin glared at her. "What kind of chick are you, hanging around my brother? Do you just hang around because you're getting things for free?" She growled lowly. "I don't like that you're here and I'd rather you not be here you b----."

Saphirre flinched at her harsh words and took a step back. "I-I can go if you w-want.." She didn't have anywhere to go, but Erin made her nervous. She stepped towards the door.

"Get out of my brother's apartment and don't come back." Erin glared at her. "And if you do, I'll break every bone in your body."

Saphirre felt tears sting her eyes and quickly opened the door. She hesitated a split second before stepping out without looking back. She hugged Daniel's jacket around herself and sniffed, walking away from the apartment building.

Daniel blinked lightly when he got to the animal hospital and was told to go back because they handled it. He got back to the apartment and frowned, seeing only Erin in the apartment. "Erin where is Saphirre?" Erin frowned back at him. "I told her to leave and not come..." she saw the angry look on her brother's face and shrunk back. "When I come back with her I want you out of here by tomorrow." He ran out of the apartment and wondered where she would go. It soon started rain, which he swore under his breath.

Saphirre wandered aimlessly, having nowhere else to go. She kept her head down until a voice called out to her. "Hey sweetheart," Saphirre looked up to a trio of men, standing safe from the rain under an awning of a closed shop. One of them gestured her over. She hesitated, but started to approach them.

He walked down the corner of a few shops he used to go to and finally spotted her, walking over to three guys huddled in the street, he started walking quickly over to her and grabbed her wrist. "Saphirre."

She turned to him, looking frightened. "D-Daniel I can't go back." She stammered. One of the guys narrowed his eyes at Daniel. "Hear that? She doesn't want to go with you."

He glared at the guy who spoke. "Oh and what you're planning to drug her and have your way with her aren't you a--hole?" He reached into his pocket and held out a gun, pointing at the group. "Personally she's better being around my brat of a sister than you a--holes." He held her close to him protectively.

The guy smirked and pulled out a gun of his own. "Why don't you come back over here princess, or your boyfriend gets it." Saphirre whimpered softly and glanced up at Daniel.

Daniel rolled his eyes. "Don't Saphirre, the idiot has probably never shot his gun and probably took it from his dad's case." He aimed for the guy's hand and shot it quickly out of his grip. "You were shaking."

Saphirre winced at the sound of the gunshot. The guy looked at Daniel with wide eyes before glaring at him. "Just get outta here." Saphirre sighed in relief, seeing his gun gone.

He nodded and grabbed Saphirre's hand, running quickly back to his apartment, stopping near a building and hugged her close to him. "Are you okay?" He looked extremely worried.

She hugged him tightly, shaking slightly. She looked up at him. "I can't go back, Erin...E-Erin said..." She trailed off, sounding nervous. She couldn't go back as long as Daniel's sister was there.
