She curled a little tighter, the realization of what those men might've done finally hitting her. "It's okay. You don't have to apologize." She said hurriedly, wiping her eyes.

"I have to apologize Saphirre..." he reached over and gently ran his hand over one of her wings repeatedly. "I shouldn't have yelled at you and it was my fault for doing so."

His touch was calming to her and she slowly relaxed. "You had a reason to yell." She said, rolling over to face him. "I should've been more careful."

He smiled lightly and sat her up a bit, moving her onto his lap. "I didn't have a reason to yell at you." He buried his face into her neck.

She kissed his forehead and sighed. "I was being stupid. What if you hadn't gotten there? They...they would've..." She shifted a little closer to him.

He held her protectively. "I would have gotten there anyways, before they even did anything to did anything to you." He kissed her cheek gently and smiled. "And I still would have shot the idiot."

She stiffened and held him close. "Don't say that, when he took out that gun I was so worried that you'd get hurt because of me..." She rambled, a little panicky.

He blushed lightly and tilted her head back a bit, kissing her gently trying to get her not to panick.

I dunno if you saw my thread, but I'm away for the week (again ugh), so I might not be on...)
She kissed back and sighed a little before pulling away. "Sorry..." -
It's alright hon! I'll just miss my soap buddy.)
He grinned playfully. "Give me an excuse to kiss you when you're frustrated~" he teased lightly. -

She blushed feircley, about to respond when a sneeze cut her off. She blushed more. "Sorry, I guess I should've gotten out of the rain sooner." -
It's alrighr if you can't kiddo. :P I have a family reunion tomorrow.)
He grinned more and huggled her close to him. "Well that means I can stay here and keep you warm~" he nuzzled and nibbled at her neck. -

She sneezed again, turning away to cover her face. "I don't want you to get sick too though." -
I'll try to!)
He smiles at her. "I'll give you some cough medicine and I'll still stay here with you, no matter what." He got up. "I'll be back in a moment." -
She nodded. "Okay." She climbed under the blankets and snuggled up, sneezing a few more times in the process.
