Saphirre frowned a little and opened the door, holding her clothes. That pretty much did away with any chance of a friendship between her and Erin.

He took the clothes from her and walked to his room, placing them on his bed."I have to go to get more food so...I'll have to leave you two alone here." He grabbed his coat and glanced at Saphirre if she wanted to come.

Saphirre looked at him a little desperately. "Can I come?" She had no desire to be left alone with Erin, who obviously didn't like her, and was worried she might catch sight of her wings.

He smiled and nodded. "Of course you can come with me Saphirre." He slipped on his coat and held out his jacket he gave her yesterday. He helped her put it on and started to walk to the door. "Erin you're in charge of the house, don't do anything stupid."

Saphirre followed him closely, happy to be out again, even if it was just for shopping. She gave a little sigh and silently hoped that Erin wouldn't stay long, or that she would at least be a little more friendly.

He opened the door and walked Saphirre out of the apartment, closing the door behind her. "I'm sorry about Erin...she's usually wouldn't be like that." He hugged her gently and started to walk her to the grocery store.

"It's okay. I really would've been fine on the couch though." She added as they walked. A light breeze blew her hair and she swept it out of the way.

He shook his head no. "No I want you to be comfortable Saphirre." He smiled at her. "My sister can be a pain trust me, but you'll get used to her."

She smiled softly. "I'm sure we'll get along fine. And if not I'll just keep my distance. If she doesn't want me around then it's okay, I'll just stay out of her way." She said.

He sighed lightly. "Erin is like that to new people. She hates when people are around me that are new to her." He got to the grocery store and walked through the automatic doors.

Saphirre nodded. "I can understand that." She followed him into the store and glanced around, trying not to look too impressed. She knew to everyone else here it was just another store.

He grabbed a cart and started to walk around the grocery store. "Stay close to me Saphirre. You can get lost here." He smiled at her and picked up some strawberries.

That was all she needed to hear to stay practically glued to his side. She looked around at all the different foods. When Daniel picked up the strawberries she blinked at them curiously. "What're those?" A couple nearby overhead and shot her a few strange looks. Saphirre frowned and looked away, realizing she probably should already know.

He smiled lightly. "They are strawberries, sweet fruit." He grabbed some more fruits and glanced at her. "If you have other questions on the foods I'm picking up, wait until later to ask, or when people aren't around."

She nodded and blushed slightly. "Right, sorry..." She decided to keep quiet for the rest of the time.
