Meanwhile, Mastiff was treating Maria to breakfast.
"We're here," Badger whispered to Duchess, spotting the junkyard. -
Badger motioned for Duchess and they crept up the junkyard without being seen.

Mastiff was talking to Maria when he noticed Runa not too far away. He gave her a weak smile.
Badger spotted Vine! "There she is!" he whispered excitedly to Duchess. -
Vine was chatting with Miku. Duchess smiled and nodded. "Yeah!"
Runa looked down and glanced away, feeling guilty and upset. He was happy, that was all she wanted. -
Mastiff put Maria on hold for a moment and went to say hello to Runa. She wasn't his favorite, but she was alright. "Are you ok?" he inquired.

The shy cat snapped her head up, stuttering out a hasty reply. "Y-Yes! I'm fine..." She twitched an ear nervously and hopped onto an overturned crate. "Just fine."
