(I already did... Im Kona!)
Kona sat down on the curb, watching cars pass by.
(she's not part of any group though. She's kind of by herself for now.) -
(...Ohhhhhh right! Right! Sorry. I was thinking of Kuna!)
-
Kuna wrinkle her nose. "Gross. I'm glad you made it out of there...who's this?" "I'm Todd!" The white kit squeaked.
Winona nuzzled him playfully. -
"Let's go," called Mastiff, he and Kuna leading everyone back home. He kept staring back at Maria, though. Naomi had said she used to think whoever you were paired up with in the breeding center was your meant-to-be for life, although she had been paired up with so many toms that she did not believe this anymore.
Mastiff sighed, plodding along but once more turning his head to catch another glimpse at Maria. He wasn't sure he loved her, but felt a slight affection towards the fact they had been paired up. Mastiff had always wondered what it would be like to raise kittens. To be a father... -
Maria followed closely behind Mastiff, keeping between him and Naomi. She was a little nervous, she had never left the center. She shuddered slightly. "What if someone catches us?" She asked Naomi.
Kuna walked beside Mastiff, chatting quietly. She told about how she had chased the truck until it drove away, and how she had wandered all night. "But at least we're all safe now. We were all really worried about you." -
Mastiff purred. "Thanks, Kuna," he said with a slight grin. "It means a lot."
Naomi sighed at Maria. "No one is going to catch us. Don't worry." Then she thought about Oakley. Her ears tensed. He had never left the pound with them! Naomi padded up to Mastiff and whispered: "Oakley isn't here. I am going to go get him. Remember that belief of your meant-to-be, and how I didn't believe it anymore??" Mastiff nodded. "Well," continued Naomi, "Now I do. Because I also knew that one day, a cat brave enough would save us all." Mastiff blushed, knowing she was talking about him. "But I DIDN'T save you guys. You saved us, Naomi, and you know it."
"I had the idea," said Naomi, now shuddering a little, "but everyone followed YOU, because YOU followed ME. Nobody will follow me because they think I'm cuckoo. No backsies!" And with that, she gracefully bounded away in search of Oakley. -
Kuna purred back. "Well, you were hit by a car! of course we were worried!" Maria jumped closer to Mastiff as Naomi bounded off. "M-Mind if I stick with you for now? I don't really know the other cats here..."
-
Mastiff blushed. "Sh-sure... okay..."
-
Maria smiled and quickly moved closer. Kuna winked atMastiff. "Made a new friend I see?"
-
Mastiff blushed again (now his whole face was crimson red) and scooted away from Maria, totally embarrassed. "Uh... uh... well..."
Badger sighed and peered out of a window of the apartment, missing Vine. "I wish that little kitten didn't just run away like that... Badger," she called. "what is her name again??"
"Oh, Vine..." Badger sighed, love-sick and lost in his own thoughts of her.
Streak laughed as he told Winona a few cat jokes, tail twirling around her's.
(Okay this thread is getting EXTREMELY romantic!! XD) -
(Sorry. By "she" I meant Chara.)
-
XD Yes, yes it is.)
Kuna nudged him. "I was only joking, relax!" Maria stayed silent.
"Ooh, I have one!" Winona meowed between giggles. "What is a cat's favorite Shakespeare line?" -
Streak paused to think. "I dunno, what??" he asked, finally giving up on thinking.
Mastiff purred in a humorous tone, then maneuvering back to Maria.
Chara's eyebrows raised. This kitten is defenitely in love, she thought with a pleasant smile. -
Jezabelle giggled. "Some kittie's in loooove." She purred, her voice smooth and amused, like laughing silk. (If silk could laugh XD)
"Tabby or not tabby, that is the question." Winona answered giggling.
Maria smiled at the large tom. "So where are we going?"
Sol sighed. He missed Fawn. -
Streak burst out laughing. "I have a good one!" He cried, chortling amusedly. "What did the gardener cat plant??"
"Non-Pedigree territory," Mastiff replied. Then he explained to the Pound Cats about Peds and Non-Peds. "You see," he said after, "you pound cats would be considered... well..." he paused to think. "Actually, I think you guys would be known as Pounders. Not Outsiders, because... well, outsiders are rebels. They had a choice to become either Pedigree or Non-Pedigree, but decided they don't want to be any of those. But you guys?? Well, Pounders have obviously been cooped up in a pound all their lives. That and/or they have no idea what the 'Forton Square' system is."
