"Oh, okay, sorry for bothering you." I looked at my feet and blushed, embarrassed. I turned to start walking back to my friends.

(No I wanna do this I was at school all day and then had tutoring after and then we bought some food from the store. I don't have school tomorrow, though.)

He watched her walk off. "Uh..." -
(no we are starting the last trimester. We have conferences next week and THEN spring break.)
My friends were giggling and laughing and I was furious. They had made me feel like an idiot, even though they didn't mean to. -
(Oh. Cool.)
Her friends were laughing at her? "Wait-" He grabbed her arm. -
Someone grabbed my arm and I turned to see who it was. To my surprise it was the lost guy. My friends immediately shut up and stared.

"Uh, sorry. I just remembered. Can you show me where... where the food court is? I was supposed to meet someone," he said, making the lie up as he went along.

"Oh, yeah, sure, of course. Right this way." I grabbed his hand and headed toward the food court.

He followed her, surprised when she grabbed his hand.

"This mall is like a labyrinth. I'm not surprised you got lost. I get lost sometimes, too." I could tell I was about to start babbling so I shut up.

"Hm," he muttered.

I continued walking but let go of his wrist.

As soon as she let go of him, he shoved his hands in his pockets.

We walked in silence. We soon arrived at the food court. "Well," I said turning around. "This is it."
