Ah.
Mark sat in the driver's seat of his car, staring out at the railroad tracks a hundred or so yards away. The train wasn't due for a while, but he had nothing better to do. He'd found another small town, which was a perfect hideout. -
I woke up smelling fresh creeps in the air. I went over to brush my hair then hurried downstairs. "You shouldn't have, Jacque," I said going over to smell the amazing food. "Ah, but, madamaiselle(?), it is your sixteenth birthday, no? We must celebrate these passing of years with great grandeur!" he flourished his hands in the air then made a little bow. "Oh, stop, Jacque. You make me think I'm a princess." I pelted myself a serving, then sat down in the dining room. I remembered I forgot my orange juice and came in to see Jacque quickly closing the blinds.

I meant crepes not creeps

He yawned, slightly tired. This got old sometimes. Once, he saw some normal teenagers. Their lives were so simple; they had such petty worries. Sometimes he wondered what that would be like.
-
I gave him a look that said, 'You are weird!' then proceeded out of the kitchen with my OJ. I was excited that today was my birthday and wanted to celebrate it, too. But I had heard my parents talking about some big present that was going to be revealed today. I had my suspicions, but wasn't going to get my hopes up until I saw it with my own eyes. I was also happy because it was spring break so I wouldn't have to worry about school for another 7 days.

He'd probably have a girlfriend and play some sort of sport. He'd stress over tests, and probably would have decent grades. His parents would still be alive- and they wouldn't have provided information to terrorist groups. It had gotten so bad that they'd involved him. And now that he was the only one alive, everything was on his head. Was he mad at them for it? Not particularly. The normal teenagers seemed too conceited and superficial.
