(Yay. Just jump in, Zero.)
Caaguru strode through her territory, smiling. She could feel hundreds of sets of eyes on her- her comrades, waiting, hidden in the trees. She could feel the approval in their gathering gaze.
She wondered if the enemy knew of their numbers. From what she recalled, they only knew of about a hundred of the many hundreds of cat demons here. She wondered also if they knew of their strategy- their stealth, speed, and strenght- combined with the territory they used best. The undergrowth and treetops to disguise them. The flowers and herbs to hide their scent. The trees to hide behind and jump off of. Their entire multi-demon hunter technique.
She continued on, wondering also about how many demons the fire demons had brought with them. -
I was at camp with the other demons. I was being harrased as usual. I was ready to destroy something.

I walked up to my father. "Father, when are we attacking?"
"Soon, my daughter." He said and continued the battle plans. -

Caaguru came to rest again in front of her mother, Maru.
"Mother.." she said softly. The leader looked up at her with kind eyes. She was still amazed at her mother's appearance- she still looked like a teenager, despite being the mother of five.
"Yes?" she said gently. Caaguru looked upon her innocent eyes, unstained by murder, and felt horrible.
"I'm sorry. That I keep pushing you to show off, I mean. I know you don't want to. I'm worried. You act so weak.. sometimes you convince even me. I keep thinking you'll get eaten by a chipmunk or something." she laughed, and her mother laughed with her.
"It's fine, Caaguru. Needless to say, today will change all of that anyway. They will not steal my territory from me. I built this eden from the ground up. I planted every tree, every flower, every herb. Every blade of grass. I rerouted streams and rivers so they would pass through here. I nurtured it all up.. I made it the ultimate garden, and the ultimate weapon. Our strength, our speed. Everything I did to this land only enhanced that."
Caaguru knew her mother would never give up this land. And that reassured her. The words of unbreakable loyalty slipped past her lips before she could stop them.
"And I'll defend it with you, mother. Even if it kills me." -
(Sorry, that one was really long.)
