Suddenly we were attacked by many cat demons. More then we thought they had. "s---." I said under my breath. I lit up all the trees with fire, to drive them out of them.

Caaguru ran beside Maru- their speed allowed them to find the main fighting rather quickly. She was pleased to see that the fire demons were taken completely by surprise, as the cat demons ducked and weaved gracefully around them, dodging, cutting, jumping back to cut again. They were not ready.
She smiled. -
(I have to go now. See you in the morning?)

I blasted cat demons in mid air as they ran. They might be quick, but I was quicker. I lit up the shy with fire, waving it around the trees and attacking everything in sight.

Caaguru saw that some of them were being burned. So be it. Sacrifices were beign made, but if they played this right, none of her comrades needed to actually die today. They just needed to avoid being burned too severely.
The cat demons could feel the heat engulfinf the air around them where the flame would rise- they could dodge. They had the advantage. Caaguru found the girl who had tried to threaten her before. She seemed to be doing the most damage now.
Caaguru dropped into the underbrush, disappearing like she had so often before. She sprinted toward the fire demon and leapt, teeth bared in a vicious snarl. -
I jumped when I saw the cat demon from before trying to attack me. I blasted fire at her, also surrounding myself with a circle of fire.

Caaguru twisted in midair, hurtling through the flames, but avoiding serious burns. She landed a few feet away from the fire demon, baring her fangs. She took note of the diminishing number of fire demons around her, many having lost their fight already. It was almost sad.
"Do you see what you got yourself into, sparky? You should never have come here. You can't win." she growled, unsheathing her claws. She approached the ring of fire surrounding the girl. "Don't tell me your afraid now? You have to have this little shield to keep out the big scary kitty cats?" -
I gulped. Don't show fear. She reminded herself. "Nah, but what i am afraid of is-" I was cut off by a loud bang sound, and everything went black.

I woke up with my head hurting. I grunted and sat up. I was somewhere I've never seen before. I tried to think back on what happened.
I remembered fighting...fighting the cat demons, we were taken by surprise. It hurt when i tried to remember more. -
Caaguru awoke in a strange place. She was lying flat on her back, staring into an empty sky. The air stank of gasoline and metla, such a horrible scent.. she turned over, supporting herself on her hands and knees, and retched on the grass below her.
"Where the hell am I?" she wondered vaguely, struggling onto her feet.
