Caaguru didn't pay the fire demon the respect of looking at her when she spoke.
"Actually, I don't care to fight any of you. You're not worth our time."
She sidestepped and found the small puddle of water she had remembered here. She found some moss at the base of the tree and soaked the water into it. Tossing the moss in handfuls ito the burning branches, she watched the fire slowly die down.
"There." she said, relieved. -
I snapped my fingers and the fire quickly returned to the tree. "I could keep this up all day, kitty-cat."
-
Caaguru glared at the girl.
"If you don't want a lung full of poison, you'd be well advised to stop doing that. And don't call me kitty cat. I have a name." she growled.
"I'm surprised you don't know that. I am the daughter of the leader of the cat demon clan." she said, forgetting what little that title meant, becasue of her mother's false weakness.
She began putting the fire out again. -
I sighed. "Whatever." I said, bored.
-
Caaguru grinned.
"Yay." she said, putting the fire out once again. When it was done, she allowed herself the time to turn and see the fire demon.
"You know it won't work." -
I raised my eyebrows and looked at her. "What is it that won't work, kitty?"
-
She gritted her teeth at the word "kitty".
"Invading us. It won't work. You'll fail." she said. She knew it sounded like a bluff. But she was fine with that. She turned to walk away, aware of the hundreds of members of their clan, each deadly fast, strong, and stealthy. Capable of disappearing into the undergrowth, and reappearing to slit your throat, only to disappear again. Prepared to fight to the death for their pride, their family. Lethal. As was the specialty of her family.
She walked away now, content that she had warned them. Even if they would never believe this girl with such scrawny arms and no weapons aside from her claws. It didn't matter what she concealed. They wouldn't listen. -
I laughed. "Okay, see you kitty!" I called.
-
Caaguru waved back without turning.
Good luck, wretch. You'll pay for your arrogance. -
I chucked a bit.
Kitty-cat had no idea what's going to hit her and her little clan of kitties. -
(I have to leave for a while again. Will you still be here later?)
-
(Yeah, I'll be on.)
-
(K, bye for now.)
-
(Bye)

(Sorry I had to leave)
