(I'll look now.)
-
(You two gonna talk now?)
-
(I'm waiting on zero, but I'll go)
I walked away from my father, and went into the tent I'd be staying in. -
I walked out of my tent. And then looked at the sky.
-
Caaguru sat next to her mother, waiting for an order. They waited for the signal that the attack had commenced. The sound of a single cat demon screaming. Her older brother, Avarice. He sat at the edge of the forest, hidden in a treetop. And when the attack started, his ear splitting scream would pierce the sky for a single moment. And the whole of her clan would close in on the fire demons.
-
I leaned down on the little cot and closed my eyes, resting before battle.
-
(Zero?)

-
(This is becoming annoying. I'm just gonna go.)
Caaguru waited still, becoming bored.
"Mother, I always thought battles were so much more fast-paced. These people are taking forever, and it's killing me!" she whined.
"Patience." her mother said simply. She rolled her eyes, but quieted herself. -
(okay)
I woke, ready to kill some kitty-cats. I walked out of my tent and joined my father. -
Caaguru had nearly dozed off when her mother began bristling beside her. Her eyes opened wider.
"What is it, mother?" she asked quietly, stifling a yawn. "I think it's almost time." her mother said, standing up.
"What say we loosen our claws a bit before it starts?" she said playfully, and Caaguru smiled.
"Yes, ma'am!" she said, getting up and lunging at her mother. They play fought now, killing time. -
I walked with my father, readying the army. We approached the front of the line, marching the troops towards the cat demons area.
-
Her mother aimed a final blow at her shoulder, knocking her off balance, so she crashed to the ground.
"okay, okay, my claws are loose!" she laughed.
"Good." her mother smiled. "Mine too. I think you and I are ready. Remember, Caaguru, use your surroundings."
Caaguru nodded. "Of course, mother." -
We walked into their territory. Well, this will be easier then I thought.
-
The scream came suddenly, without warning. It split the air and filled their ears, and all at once, they could hear the sounds of branches swishing so softly that it could be mistaken for a sudden wind.
Caaguru looked to her mother. Maru nodded. "Now."
