Akira got out a little early to avoid his dad, and maybe be able to find Maddy soon as he walked out and toward school. -
Maddy took her usual short cut through the woods to school. She saw Akira and headed towards him, smiling. "Hey," she called stepping jumping over the stream to get to him.

"Hi," he said, smiling and looking like he broke out of his thoughts. "How are you today?"

(basically akira got beat up by the jocks and maddy ran away, then they both met up in the woods and talked. they kind of connected. now it's the next day ofschool. kapish?)

Maddy smiled, "Pretty good. How about you?"

"Yeah same," he said, keeping his left hand hidden in his pocket. As they walked up to the doors the same group of football players gathered there and started smirking as Akira and Maddy approached. "Well well well, it's the wimp." Mike said. "And is this your wimpy girlfriend?" The jocks laughed and Akira glared at them. "Don't call her a wimp."

Maddy clenched her fists, anger boiling up inside of her. Through her tightly clenched teeth she muttered, "Shut the hell up." The lead jock smirked and let out a laugh. "You telling me to shut up? Ha!" He shoved her a bit and laughed some more. Maddy fought every urge to attack him. She knew how her mother would react if she got into a fight. She looked at Akira and then back to the group of jocks. "Yeah. So shut the hell up and get out of our way, b----es," she said, narrowing her eyes at them.

Xavier was walking back from the bathroom when he saw Maddy and Akira trying to fight off the football players, Since Xavier was close to one of them, Sam, He nudged him on the shoulder hard, "Duude, cut the crap they don't want none of your s--- okay?" Sam looked at him and punched Xavier in the face. Xavier grabbed Sam's hand hard and quelched it at the wrist, "I said stop, Okay?" -
Akira slammed Mike to the wall and punched him. "Don't touch her." Was all he said. Mike just smirked. "So now you fight back, huh?" He slammed his fist aimming for Akira's face but missed just in time for Akira to push him away. A whistle sounded and a vice principal started walking over to the scene.

Maddy's heart raced. Akira shouldn't get in trouble for this... She calmly walked over to one of the other jocks and smiled. He smiled back sarcastically. Then she made her move. Raising her knee in a quick jerk, she sent him to the floor groaning in pain. "Look who's laughing now, b------." She froze when she realized everyone was watching her. She avoided everyone's gaze and stood quietly, awaiting the yelling and punishment from the vice principal.
