Yeah... well my dad came home n sorta got pissed I didnt fight. Dont worry though He texted back.

Maddy was kind of shocked. She knew that he got suspended but it wasn't his fault.

Jade looked up at Akira as he put his phone away.
"Lemme guess, Maddy?" she said rolling her eyes. -

kinda a hard not to worry. i'll try tho Maddy replied. She bit her lip nervously. She heard the front door shut. Her mother was home. "Your dinner's in the fridge! Top shelf!" she called. She heard the slight jingle of the windchime as a soft breeze blew. -
"Yeah," Akira said with a sigh. "Do you not like her, Jadie?" He felt his phone vibrate and checked his phone again. I'm not someone to worry about anyway.. He went over and sat on his bed.

Jade thought about his question for a second. "She's okay. But she better not take my spot." Jade sat down in the chair at the desk and began to spin a circle.

Akira smiled and poked Jade in the side. "You're my sissy, nobody can steal your place." He poked her again and started tickling her.

Jade started laughing and squirmed out of her brother's reach. She jumped into his bed and hid under his blankets. She knew that Akira was going to do the same thing that he always did when she did this.

i guess you're right. you can hold your own. :) Maddy heard the soft swoosh of the dishwasher as she lay back on her bed, reflecting on the day.

Akira laughed and jumped into the bed, pretending to fall asleep like normal (without crushing her). Then, looking confusedly he peeked under the covers and saw a person in his bed, which made him make the OMG face.

Maddy turned out her light and pulled the covers over her head. Her clock read 11:00. She sighed and closed her eyes, drifting into a dreamless sleep.
