“Okay, that’s what I thought,” Evan chuckled quietly, reaching his hand out to try and pet it. “What does it look like?”

“Sorry, I’m just f---in’ slow-“ Connor said softly, chuckling. “And the cat, it’s a calico- Beautiful coat, she’s got browns and blacks and a bit of gray in her fur,” he said, admiring the cat with a small smile.

“Aw, okay,” Evan said with a smile, accidentally touching Connor’s leg before feeling the cats tail bat at him, quickly moving his hand to pet the cat.

Connor blushed a little, sneaking a glance at Evan for a moment before looking down at the cat. He pulled out his phone, taking a photo of the cat being pet by Evan.

Eloise grinned, taking a picture of the two herself. “Well- I’ve gotta get back to the front desk, but you two can stay here for as long as you like~” She said, heading to the baby gate. “Thank you,” Evan said softly, pulling his hand away from Connor’s cat to pet him own again.

“Thank you,” Connor said with a smile, nodding as he looked back. He watched Evan with a lovesick grin, scooting a little closer to the brunette as the cat in his lap moved.

“What does my cat look like?” Evan asked, gently petting the cat in his lap.

“That one’s a black cat- it has white paws, like socks,” Connor said with a smile, taking another picture of Evan.

“Aw,” Evan said with a small smile, gently grabbing the cats paws and petting them, as if he could feel the socks.

Connor watched Evan with a lovesick grin, taking another photo of him. "God, you're so cute," he murmured, chuckling softly.

“Shut up-“ Evan frowned, scrunching his nose.

"Sorry, sorry," Connor spoke softly, looking down at the cat in Evan's lap.

Evan sighed quietly, gently petting the cat in his lap. “Sorry- I didn’t mean to be so harsh.”

“No, it’s okay,” Connor said, chuckling softly. “Don’t worry~”

Evan smiled softly, leaning into Connor’s side a little.
