Connor chuckled, watching Penny meow and tap Amethyst's paw with her own. He smiled, wrapping an arm around Evan's waist and leaning against his side.

Evan chuckled, rolling his eyes. Anethyst meowed quietly, taking a few steps out of his lap to gently touch noses with Penny.

Connor awed quietly, a wide grin on his face. "Stop, that's so cute~"

Evan awed with him, leaning against Connor as he watched the two. Amethyst meowed again, starting to groom the top of Penny’s head.

Penny meowed loudly but begrudgingly let Amethyst groom her, quietly purring. "I love cats so much, dude-" Connor said, chuckling softly as he rested his head on Evan's shoulder.

“They’re so cute,” Evan agreed with a nod, giggling quietly. Amethyst continued to clean Penny, moving down to her back and flattening the fur there.

"Not cuter than us, though, right~?" Connor teased, chuckling softly as Penny meowed softly and her purring got a little louder.

“No, never~” Evan said with a chuckle, stroking Anethyst.

"Damn right, we're cuter~" Connor said with a chuckle, lifting his head a little and kissing Evan's jaw. "I love you~"

“I love you too~” Evan said with a soft smile, jumping a bit as his dad opened the door. “You guys got her yet?”

Connor looked over, chuckling softly. "Sorry, just lettin' Amethyst say her goodbyes," he said, petting the white cat.

“Aw, that’s alright,” Evan’s dad, watching the cat. “Well- tell her she’s got a good home she’s going to-“ “Will do, dad,” Evan said with a chuckle, giving Penny a head scratch.

"Just a few more days, Penny, then you're comin' home with me~" Connor said, smiling happily.
(imagine someone tries to adopt penny before connor can-

Penny meowed, flipping over onto her back in Connor’s lap.”Well, you two get along quite well, huh?” -
(i totally should, right?? xD)
"Yeah, she really seems to like me-" Connor said with a chuckle, wincing as Penny swatted his hand with her paw. "Sometimes- She's a little demon the other times," he added, earning a loud meow and another swat. "OW- that's very rude, young lady!"
