Evan stood behind him, texting somebody. “Yo! F—ots!” -
Connor sighed and looked over, crossing his arms over his chest. "Jonathan, to what do I owe the displeasure?" He asked, glaring at the boy who shouted at them.

“What? You’re not itching to fight, like usual?” Johnathan mocked, laughing as he approached Connor with his friends.

"No, which is a surprise, because you're face is looking as punchable as ever," Connor deadpanned, glaring at Jonathan. "Leave me alone, I'm kind of busy-"

“Since when have I cared about that?” Johnathan said, cracking his knuckles. “Connor, just ignore him,” Evan whispered, not even caring to turn around. “What was that, you little b----?”

"Call my boyfriend a b---- one more f---ing time, I dare you-" Connor said quickly, anger rising as he whirled around to face Jonathan.

“Or what?” Johnathan said, a smug smirk on his face. “You’re giving him what he wants,” Evan whispered, pushing Connor’s shoulder around so he would face his locker again. “Get your books and let’s go, we’re gonna be late to class.”

Connor huffed softly and grabbed his last book, shoving it into his bag and zipping his bag. He slung it over his shoulder and shut his locker, grabbing Evan's hand and walking off with him.

“What f---in losers-“ Jackson scoffed, making his friends laugh. “The two crippled-“

“Real original, Jackson,” Evan called, rolling his eyes.***

Connor's grip on his backpack strap tightened as he let out a shaky breath, trying to calm down.

“See? You can do it,” Evan said softly, squeezing Connor’s hand. “Penny is as good as yours~”

Connor exhaled softly, a small smile on his face. "I really want her, but- God, Jonathan f---in' pisses me off," he said with a sigh, leaning against Evan's side as he gently squeezes his hand.

“I know, me too,” Evan said with a nod, chuckling quietly. “But Penny’s worth it~”

Connor smiled, nodding. "Hell yeah, she is~" He said with a chuckle, rubbing Evan's hand with his thumb.
