“I know, I thought of it last night,” Evan said with a bright smile.

"I love it~" Connor said with a smile, kissing Evan's cheek quickly.

“Me too,” Evan said with a smile, turning his head to look at Connor.

"I really hope I can get Penny- I just need to hold out until the end of the week, and we're all good," Connor said, a determined look on his face.

“Yeah, and you’re doing great,” Evan said with a nod, squeezing Connor’s hand reassuringly.

Connor smiled, leaning into Evan's side and gently squeezing his hand back.

Evan giddily hopped out of the car, quickly closing the door and grabbing the crate they had gotten for the cat. “C’mon, hurry up!” -
"Okay, okay! Calm down, babe-" Connor half-joked, chuckling softly as he got out of the car.

“Yeah, she’s not gonna run away in the few seconds it takes to walk there,” His dad said with a chuckle, hopping out of the car and heading to the door. “You guys are losers-“ Evan said with a chuckle, rolling his eyes.

"I'm one handsome loser, though, right~?" Connor teased, moving to Evan's side and wrapping an arm around his waist.

Evan flushed red, rolling his eyes. “Shut up!” He said with a chuckle as he grabbed the front door and opened it. “Oh, hey Evan!” Eloise said once they were inside. “I’ve got a bit of paperwork, but Betsy’s ready in the car room whenever you are,” “I can deal with the paperwork, Evan, go on and get her,” His dad said with a soft smile, heading to the front desk.
