(sorry i was gone for so long!)
“I haven’t been able to sleep, like, at all without you here,” Evan mumbled, fear creeping into his tone. -
(you're good, dw!!)
"Aw, my poor baby," Connor murmured softly, holding Evan close. "You wanna try and get some sleep now that I'm here?" -
(sorry, got to move to UG for a few minutes! being forced to go on a walk, but i'll be on!!)

“Thank you,” Evan mumbled, gently gripping onto Connor’s shirt.

"You're welcome, hun," Connor spoke softly, running a hand through Evan's hair.

Evan shuddered, curling closer to Connor.

Connor hummed softly as he held Evan close, kissing his head with a smile.

“I lo-“ Evan’s words turned into incoherent mumbles as he drifted off to sleep.

Connor flushed, a small smile tugging at his lips as he hugged Evan close. "I love you, too, Ev," he whispered softly, kissing his head.

Evan made a small, sleepy noise, curling closer to Connor as he fell asleep.

Connor stayed awake with Evan in his arms, rubbing his back with a smile. -
“AH- you f---in’-“ Evan suddenly exclaimed, startling awake and pushing away from Connor. “Holy f---in’ s----“ he muttered after realizing, leaning back into his boyfriend.

"You okay, hun?" Connor asked softly, holding Evan close and rubbing his back.

“Yeah, sorry-“ Evan mumbled quietly, melting into Connor’s touch. “Just- y’know, the usual.”

"Hey, you're good, don't apologize," Connor said, kissing Evan's head. "Just take deep breaths, okay? It's just a bad dream."
