“I play baseball,” Connor said, looking over at Evan. “It’s pretty fun, a good stress reliever for me.”
-
“So wait- are you like, super buff? I feel like baseball players don’t do that much-“ Evan said.
-
“No, I’m definitely not super buff,” Connor said, chuckling softly. “I have a little muscle from training and working out, but I’m not like, football player buff.”
-
“Oh, football players are hot, holy s---,” Evan said, chuckling quietly for probably the first time since Connor had come over.
-
“Hm, you’re right about that,” Connor said, chuckling softly.
-
“Yeah, anyways,” Evan said, sighing “I’m bored. Can we go inside?”
-
“No, you need the sun and vitamin D,” Connor said, chuckling softly.
-
“Yes, Dr… Connor,” Evan scoffed, rolling his eyes.
-
“My mom’s a doctor, actually,” Connor spoke, hugging his legs to his chest.
-
“Okay?” Evan said, scoffing. “I don’t care. I’m going inside,” he said, standing.
-
“Wait, wait- Do- Would you wanna go for a walk or something?” Connor suggested, grabbing Evan’s hand and stopping him for a moment.
-
Evan quickly took his hand away. “How could I go for a walk? I’m not holding your hand, either.”
-
“You don’t have to hold my hand, you can just- grab onto my shirt or something,” Connor suggested, shrugging. “It’s better than sitting on your ass all day-“
-
“Mm, I beg to differ-“ Evan said, crossing his arms.
-
“Just- Let’s just walk for like, ten, fifteen minutes, okay? After that, you can go rot in bed again-“
