Connor chuckled softly, watching him for a moment. “You wanna stay here in your front yard, or do you want to actually get back to walking and get it over with?”
-
“I’d rather lay here until you decide we’re not walking,” Evan muttered, his eyelids fluttering shut.
-
“Guess we’re laying here until you give in, then,” Connor said with a chuckle, watching Evan with a playful smirk even though he couldn’t see it.
-
“I will just get sunburnt,” Evan said, scoffing.
-
“Good, get crispy then,” Connor said with a chuckle, crossing his legs.
-
“Ugh, you’re such a dick,” Evan groaned, flipping over to lay on his stomach.
-
“Eh, I’ve been called worse,” Connor said, chuckling softly.
-
“I wasnt even trying,” Evan said, slightly muffled with his face pressed in the ground.
-
Connor watched Evan with a small smile, chuckling softly. “You sure you don’t want to get up and walk around some?”
-
“I’d rather die,” Evan muttered, rubbing the back of his head.
-
Connor laid down on the ground by Evan, exhaling softly. “Are you like, permanently blind, or is this just temporary?”
-
“Temporary,” Evan muttered, rolling onto his back again. “Which makes it even more annoying, honestly. I’m supposed to get it back in less than four months.”
-
“So, what, about 100 days?” Connor said, watching Evan
-
“About,” Evan muttered “It’s so weird, needing to live like this for like- kind of a short time. And I’ll just forget it all when I get my sight back.”
-
“I mean- I know this’ll sound kind of cringe, but maybe you can learn something from this?”
