“Well, call me an idiot then, because I really do care about your feelings, and if you want to talk, I’m always here,” Connor spoke softly, watching Evan.
-
“Idiot, why do you think I’d trust you?” Evan muttered.
-
“I mean, I never said you had to trust me, just- I’m here if you need someone to talk to-“
-
“Whatever,” he scoffed, rubbing his face.
-
Connor exhaled softly, watching Evan for a moment before sitting down on the floor beside his bed.
-
“Are you sitting on the floor?” Evan asked, whipping a hand out and hitting Connor on the head.
-
“OW- Yes, I am, Jesus-“ Connor whined, rubbing the side of his head with his hand. “No need for such violence, my Lord-“
-
“Sorry, sorry I can’t f---ing see,” Evan muttered, pulling his hand back.
-
Connor chuckled softly, nodding. “It’s fine, just maybe don’t try and hit me upside the head,” he said, resting his head against the bed.
-
“You’ll be fine,” Evan scoffed, running a hand through his hair.
-
Connor chuckled softly, glancing over at Evan. He hummed softly, pulling out his phone.
-
Evan rubbed his face, rolling over. “My head hurts.”
-
“You want me to get some medicine from your dad?” Connor asked softly, looking over at Evan.
-
“If it’d get you out of the room for a minute, yeah,” Evan mumbled.
-
Connor chuckled softly and nodded, standing to his feet. “Be right back,” he said, leaving the room.
