Georgie exhaled shakily, tilting her head a little and rubbing her eyes. "I miss my dad," they murmured, tears filling their eyes again.

Casimir sighed softly. ‘I know, love.’

Georgie exhaled softly and curled closer to Casimir, burying her face in the crook of his neck again.

Casimir ran his hand through their hair, trying to sooth them.

Georgie leaned into Casimir's touch, slowly calming down. "Sorry, I- I dunno why I'm so upset..."

‘It’s okay, love. You’re allowed to be upset.’

Georgie exhaled softly, lifting their head and rubbing their eyes. "I-I know, it's just- kind of embarrassing, I guess?"

‘It’s not embarrassing, love,’ Casimir said softly, playing with their hair.

"I know, it just feels like it," Georgie murmured, moving to lay back down with a sigh.

Casimir held them close. ‘I get it. But it’s normal to grieve and be sad. Nobody expects you to just be over it, okay?’

Georgie nodded, curling closer to Casimir. She exhaled softly and rubbed his eyes, calming down a little.

Casimir played with their hair, holding them close. ‘I love you.’

"I love you, too," Georgie whispered back, a small smile appearing on their face. She lifted her head and looked at Casimir, kissing his cheek. "How'd you sleep, hun?"

Casimir smiled. ‘I slept well.’

"That's good," Georgie replied with a small smile, nodding as she hugged Casimir close.
