Georgie giggled softly, yawning as they laid down on their side. They soon fell asleep, hugging onto their pillow.
-
Casimir waited in the dining room for the food to come. His grandparents walked in.
-
"Hm, your crippled fiance isn't all over you this morning- what a surprise," Casimir's grandfather commented, smirking a little as he walked over.
-
Casimir rolled his eyes. ‘Don’t call them that. They’re asleep.’
-
"I can call her whatever I want- y'know, you should be grateful I've let this little "exploration" go this far," Casimir's grandfather retorted, glaring at Casimir. "Just you wait, you're going to regret wasting all your time on some crippled peasant."
-
Casimir glared. ‘You can’t, actually. You’re lucky I even invited you to the wedding. I-I’m the king, I could execute you if I wanted to!’
-
"You'd dare threaten to execute me? Your own family??" Casimir's grandfather said, stepping closer to Casimir. "Wow, that peasant really has brainwashed you," he muttered, shaking his head.
-
‘Then don’t disrespect me or my fiancé. I’ll marry who I f---ing want. If you had it your way, my wife would be a murderer!’ Casimir snapped.
-
"Maybe that's exactly how the press should've put it!" His grandfather shouted back, his hands shaking with anger. "All people like her want is money and fame, just using you for your title or body! You're making a huge mistake-"
-
‘Georgie isn’t like that! Indigo is! Rose is! Georgie never has been!’ Casimir shouted. ‘Georgie’s done nothing wrong! They’ve been nothing but kind to you!’
-
"It's all a facade, Casimir!" Casimir's grandfather said, pointing a finger at him. "It's all fake, and if you don't open your eyes and realize that, you're going to lose everything."
-
‘That’s not going to happen,’ Casimir said firmly. ‘I know Georgie, you don’t.’
-
"Do you, Casimir? Do you??" His grandfather asked, glaring at Casimir. He sighed, rubbing his temples. "I can't deal with this anymore-"
-
‘Then leave,’ Casimir snapped. ‘If you hate my fiancé that much, don’t attend the wedding. I’d prefer it if you didn’t, actually. It was a mistake asking you to come.’
-
"Maybe I will," Casimir's grandfather said, shooting a glare at his grandson. "It was a mistake coming here, anyways," he muttered, turning and walking off.
