‘Good!’ Casimir snapped after him. The food was brought out by a waiter. He sighed and grabbed two plates, then made his way back to his room.

Georgie rolled over in their sleep, yawning softly as they hugged the pillow closer to them.

Casimir carefully balanced the two plates on his arm and opened the door. He set the plates on the nightstand and gently shook Georgie’s shoulder.

Georgie stirred awake and yawned softly, sitting up and rubbing her eyes. "Mm, hi~"

‘Hey,’ Casimir said with a small smile. ‘I brought you breakfast.’

"Thank you, honey~" Georgie said with a smile, yawning again as they woke themselves up.

Casimir smiled, sitting next to them. He kissed the side of their head.

Georgie smiled and moved closer to Casimir, hugging onto him and kissing his cheek. "What'd you bring up for breakfast?"

Casimir gave a weak smile and wrapped an arm around them. ‘Bacon and egg English muffins.’

"Sounds delicious~" Georgie said, smiling. They frowned a little, watching Casimir with a worried look. "Are you okay, sweetheart?" He asked softly, bringing a hand up and cupping his fiance's cheek.

Casimir leaned into their touch. ‘Nope, all good,’ he said with a feigned smile.

"Cassie, you don't have to lie to me- y'know that, right?" Georgie spoke softly, rubbing Casimir's cheek with his thumb. "What's the matter, honey?"

Casimir closed his eyes, leaning into their touch. ‘It’s just something my grandfather said. Nothing to worry about.’

"I'm guessing he made more comments about me, right?" Georgie asked in a quiet voice, rubbing Casimir's cheek with their thumb.

‘Yeah,’ Casimir mumbled.
