Nick glanced at Karl for a seconds, nodding. “I mean- what do you do? What kind of social media?” “Uh- well- I kinda make TikToks, and websites and stuff.”

“I- I think I’m gonna get something to drink,” Karl spoke quietly to Alex, turning and walking off. Alex sighed and watched Karl walk off, crossing his arms. He looked back at Clay and Nick, watching them talk.

Clay held back a sigh as Karl walk away, Nick doing the same, although for opposite reasons. “Ohh, that’s pretty cool.”

“Alright, Nick,” Alex said with a glare, stepping closer to the ravenette, “what’s your deal with him? Why’re you being such an ass towards him for no reason??”

“Why am I being an ass??” Nick said, his face dropping in disbelief. “You don’t even know what happened and you’re just taking his side??”

“Oh, I know what happened,” Alex said, glaring at Nick. “All he did was break some little picture frame, which he apologized for and offered to pay to fix it, and now you’re being a complete and total dickwad to him!”

Nick flinched slightly, trying not to tear up. He also didn’t want to tell them that his mother had died- he would look like a giant baby if he showed he had been that attatched to a picture frame. “Guys- there’s more to it-“ “Then tell us,” Clay said, crossing his arms.

“Like, I get it if it was a special picture frame or something, but Karl didn’t deserve to be yelled at,” Alex said, sighing softly. “He said he was sorry and he meant it. And he genuinely would’ve done anything to make it up to you.”

“No, because you don’t get it, and here you are yelling at me,” Nick said, crossing his arms. “There was no way he could have made it up- and- Oh my God, guys, he yelled at me directly after! Did he tell you that??”

“Well, no- But that doesn’t mean he didn’t mean what he said! Haven’t you thought that, maybe, he’s beating himself up over this, yelling at you and breaking something of yours?!” Alex exclaimed, throwing his hands in the air.

“Well, maybe he should f---ing apologize to me, then??” Nick said, glaring at Alex. “Rather than having his friends yell at me about it too??”

“He did apologize, you dickhead! You’re just too wrapped up in your own head to f---ing realize!” Alex exclaimed, stepping closer to Nick. “If anyone needs to apologize, anyways, it’s you.”

“For what??” Nick glared at Alex. “Like, s---, I’m so sorry that I was kind of upset you broke this really important thing of mine- and I’m so sorry you feel bad that you blew up on me afterwards.”

“He f---ing apologized, dude, what more do you want?!” Alex shouted, shoving Nick back a little. “God, you’re such a pretentious a--hole, I don’t f---ing get why Karl wants to make up so bad-“

“Yeah, if I'm such a pretentious a--hole, I don’t understand why Karl does want to make up,” Nick said, stumbling back slightly. “Y’know what, Im f---ing leaving. You people are awful,” Nick said, flipping Alex off and turning to walk down the street again.
