Evan raised an eyebrow, studying his for a moment. “You sure? Because I seriously don’t mind going and getting them. I’m honestly feeling restless tonight anyways.”

“I mean-“ Connor paused, looking down at their hands for a moment before looking back up. “Really, you would? Because- Because I- I really do need them, I- I kind of lied,” he added, chuckling awkwardly. “I’ve felt pretty s--- without my meds this past week, not gonna lie-“ -

“Yeah, I would,” Evan nodded. “Let’s go, then- do you want me to drop you off so you can get some sleep?” -

“No, I want to stay with you,” Connor said, gently squeezing Evan’s hand. “My anxiety’s already bad, but being with you makes it better.” -

Evan nodded, letting go of Connor’s hand for a moment to put the car in drive. “Can you put directions on?” -
Connor nodded and pulled out his phone, putting in the directions to their apartment. “Other than me almost getting you in trouble,” he said, chuckling softly, “have you been having fun at camp?”

Evan shrugged, offering his hand to Connor. “I guess so. It’s really tiring, but rewarding. Have you?”

“Probably the same, honestly,” Connor said, smiling. “I definitely enjoy getting to work with the kids, it’s honestly a lot of fun~”

“I’m glad you like it,” Evan said with a smile. “I wish I could meet your kids- they sound so sweet.” -

“They’re all a handful, but they’re great,” Connor said, chuckling. He held his hand back out for Evan, humming softly. -
(and i’m also going to watch inside out two so i wont be on much 😭)
Evan nodded, taking Connor’s hand. “I bet- This’ll honestly be really nice- I don’t have to worry about them. s---, they’re probably staying up super late right now-“ -

“Nah, we’ll be fine,” Evan said quietly, shrugging. “I think, at least. They don’t usually care when I’m gone at night, so. I’m pretty sure I have a curfew, but they’ve never actually enforced it, so…” -
(i think i may be able to see it this week? idk for sure yet tho)
“Mm, fair,” Connor said with a chuckle, nodding as he rubbed the back of Evan’s hand. He hummed softly, leaning back in his seat. -
