“Literally, they’re so f---ing adorable,” Connor said, chuckling. “They’re like, always making stuff in arts and crafts together now. Literally so cute~”

“Awww,” Evan said softly, curling his knees into his chest and wrapping his arms around them. “s---, that’s so cute-“

“Seriously- But y’know, not cuter than us, of course~” Connor said, chuckling softly.

“Oh, of course, of course,” Evan said with a smile, studying Connor again for a moment. “Uh- I had another anxiety attack last night. Not as bad. But still,” He said quietly after a moment of quiet.

“Were you by yourself?” Connor asked, frowning a little. “I wish you would’ve called me.”

Evan thought for a moment, reaching up to rub one of his eyes. “I mean- kinda. I was in my cabin bathroom. I- I meant to call you. I wasn’t thinking.”

“Hey, it’s okay,” Connor replied, a sympathetic smile on his face. “It’s not your fault, I understand. Heat of the moment, you’re most likely only thinking that you feel like you’re dying,” he added, chuckling softly.

Evan smiled sadly, nodding in agreement. “Yeah, exactly. But I’m okay now! Honestly.”

“That’s good,” Connor said with a smile, gently squeezing Evan’s hand.

“Yeah,” Evan said softly, smiling a little. “I wish I knew why my anxiety is so bad, though. It’s kind of pissing me off.”

“I’ve been asking myself that for the past 19 years,” Connor said with a laugh, rolling his eyes. “Ugh, you know what I completely forgot to bring with me?”

“What?” Evan said with a chuckle, leaning his head against the head rest.

“I left my anxiety meds back at the apartment,” Connor said, sighing softly. “And I wanted to ask my mom to bring my backups, but she’s got work- I didn’t wanna pull her away from that.”

“Ugh, that’s bad,” Evan said with a quiet chuckle. “I mean, I could probably drive back and get them- that’d only be like a three hour drive and I’d be back before one-“

“I mean, I’m okay without them- I haven’t taken them since we got to camp, but it’s fine,” Connor replied, running his free hand through his hair.
