“I’m glad~” Liam said softly, smiling at Jared.

Jared smiled and looked around for a moment, quickly planting a kiss on Liam’s cheek and hoping none of the leaders would split them apart.

Liam flushed red, smiling brightly and squeezing Jared’s hand.

Jared smiled at Liam, admiring him with a smile.

Jared sat in the auditorium beside Liam and with the rest of their group, singing to the music with a small smile. -
Liam sang quietly next to him, looking down at his feet.

Jared paused singing after a moment, looking over at Liam. “Hey, hun-“

“What?” Liam whispered, glancing up at Jared.

“I’ll be right back, gotta use the restroom,” Jared spoke softly, rubbing his back for a moment before standing.

“Oh, okay, do you want me to come with you?” Liam whispered, scooching back in his seat so Jared could get by.

“Nah, I’ll be alright- I wouldn’t want you missing the worship. Hopefully I’ll be back before the sermon starts” Jared spoke quietly with a smile, ruffling his hair as he walked past him and left the row. He hummed softly to the music as he walked out of the auditorium, heading towards the bathrooms. He walked in and over to a stall, using the toilet and coming back our after a few minutes. “So, how was your trip, Jared?” The brunette froze and slowly turned, seeing Pastor Matthew in the bathrooms. “It- It was fine-“ He spoke, his hands shaking as he turned back to the sink. He started to wash his hands, nervously watching Pastor Matthew walk closer to him from the mirror. “I’m sure you missed coming to youth,” the older man spoke softly, resting his hands on Jared’s hips. Jared froze, his breathing becoming erratic. f---, f---, f---- what do I do?! He thought in a panic, trying to move away when he felt the older man’s hands roaming his body.

Liam nodded, watching him leave. He continued singing for a few minute, but felt uneasy knowing Jared was alone. He quickly squeezed past the people in the row he was in, heading out and to the bathroom. He promised Jared that he wouldn’t let anything happen again, and he was gonna make sure he kept it. He pushed the bathroom door open, seeing Pastor Matthew all over Jared. “HEY- GET THE f--- OFF OF HIM-“ Liam yelled, running in and pulling Jared away. “You f---ing pervert- how the hell can you get up and preach about God’s love and mercy and do this kind of stuff?”

Jared exhaled shakily as he tried to move behind Liam, Pastor Matthew pulling him back. “How about you mind your own damn business, kid?” He spoke, lust in his eyes as he looked back at Jared. “Let me go!” He shouted, tears filling his eyes.

“No! Don’t touch him!” Liam yelled, taking a step over and kicking Pastor Matthew in the balls. “You’re absolutely f---ing insane if you think you’re gonna do s--- to him-“

The older man groaned and doubled over, letting go of Jared. The brunette quickly moved away, tears rolling down his face as his breathing grew erratic.

“Jare- Jare, I’m sorry, but we’ve gotta- let’s go find Caleb, okay?” Liam said, gently pushing Jared towards the door, opening it and pushing it out. He quickly dragged him down the hall again and to just outside the door of the auditorium. “I’m so sorry, hun, I’m so sorry-“ he said, wrapping his arms around him.
