Liam speed-walked to the other side of the auditorium where Caleb was, tapping on his shoulder. “Jared- uh- he went into the bathroom, and Pastor Matthew was there-“

“What??” Caleb asked, confusion on his face. He slid out of the row and moved to the side, crouching in front of Liam. “What happened again, Liam?”

“Jared- he- he went to the bathroom, and Pastor Matthew was in there- and he touched him again- and I found them and kicked Pastor and dragged Jared out of there,” Liam said, getting more and more scared and angered by the second.

“What?!” Caleb spoke, a shocked and angered look on his face. “Where’s Jared? Is he okay??”

“No- not really, he’s by the door-“ Liam said, pointing over to his boyfriend.

Caleb looked over to see Jared, exhaling shakily as he rushed to him. “Where did Matthew go? Did you see if he left or not?” He asked Liam, looking over to him.

“Uh- no, I tried to get Jared out as quickly as possible, because he was still trying to like.. get to him even with me in there,” Liam said quietly.

“That perverted b------,” Caleb muttered, clenching his hands into fists. He walked over to Jared, who still looked a little nervous and on edge but had calmed down for the most part. Jared clung to Liam quickly, exhaling softly. “You’re gonna be okay, Jared, I promise,” Caleb spoke, rubbing his back.

“Yeah, it’s gonna be fine,” Liam said softly, hugging Jared close and running a hand through his hair.

“You two stay right here, I’m gonna talk to security- You’re- You’re okay with me telling them you were the one Matthew targeted, right? Because either way, I have to tell them,” Caleb spoke, crouching beside Jared. “Y-Yeah, it’s okay-“ Jared whispered softly, nodding. Caleb nodded and rubbed his back for a moment, standing up and leaving the auditorium.

“Hey, he’s gonna fix it,” Liam whispered softly, rubbing Jared’s back.

Jared nodded, shakily clinging to Liam as he buried his face in his chest.
