“Uh, can we watch like, a murder mystery?” Arthur asked.

“Mm, sure yeah- I don’t know any good ones, though,” Finn said, looking back at Aurthur. “What do you recommend?” He asked, looking into the bag of nail polish and pulling out one of a light blue color.

“Maybe- uh, I know good murder mystery series?” Arthur said hesitantly.

“Ooh, yeah, let’s do that~” Finn said, smiling. “Ah s---, I need to get the nail polish remover- Here, you find one and I’ll be right back~” He said, pressing a kiss on Aurthur’s cheek.

“Alright,” Arthur smiled brightly, watching Finn walk away before turning back to the TV and pulling up Psyc, a murder mystery series he loved.

Finn came back after a few minutes with cotton balls and nail polish remover, humming softly. “Alright, you ready?” He asked, grabbing the nail polish color Aurthur had chosen.

“Yeah, whenever you are,” Arthur nodded, turning to face Finn.

Finn nodded and opened up the bottle of nail polish, beginning to apply it to Aurthur’s nails. “Damn, despite being colorblind, you sure know how to pick good colors~” He teased, giggling softly.

“It kinda looks like your eyes, that’s why I chose it,” Arthur said, giggling quietly and watching Finn paint his nails.

Finn awed, smiling happily. “Stop, you’re too adorable~“ He said, giggling softly as he continued to paint Aurthur’s nails. “So, how’s school going for you?” He asked after a few moments of silence.

“Eh, school sucks, as normal,” Arthur shrugged. “How about you?”

“It’s alright, I guess-“ Finn said, shrugging a little. “Just the uhm, the usual transphobia-“

“Oh, I’m sorry,” Arthur frowned, watching Finn for a moment. “Dude- I just- I sometimes forget your trans- in like, a good way! Y’know, cause you’re just, like- a guy in my mind.”

Finn blushed, giggling softly. “It’s okay, I’m- I’m kinda used to it by now,” he said softly, continuing to paint Aurthur’s nails. “It’s just kind of annoying, being misgendered and nor being able use either bathroom without getting harrassed…”

“Mm, people are stupid,” Arthur said quietly, admiring Finn. “Don’t listen to them.”
