Liam wrapped his other arm around Jared, holding him close. “I promise, I will not let that happen to you again.”

Jared nodded again, exhaling shakily as he hugged onto Liam and buried his face in his chest.

“I love you so much,” Liam whispered, rubbing Jared’s back.

“I love you too, Bug,” Jared murmured softly, leaning into Liam’s touch.

Liam hummed happily, moving a hand to gently massage Jared’s head.

Jared let out a content sigh, smiling as he leaned into Liam’s touch more.

Liam hummed softly to some music soundtrack on the movie, getting cut off by a soft yawn.

“You still sleepy?” Jared asked softly, lifting his head and looking at Liam.

Liam shrugged, smiling a little at Jared. “A little bit. I’m fine, I’m not that tired.”

“If you wanna go back to sleep, you can,” Jared said, hugging Liam close.

“Are you sure? What if you need something?” Liam said softly, rubbing Jared’s back.

“If I need something, I can get it myself,” Jared said, chuckling softly. He kissed Liam’s cheek, humming softly.

“Are you sure?” Liam asked softly, blushing a little.

“Yeah, I’ll be okay- Get some rest, okay, Bug?” Jared said, hugging Liam close.

“I’m not that tired,” Liam mumbled quietly, shifting slightly in his seat. “Can we lay down, though?”
