“I- Yeah, I guess I was,” Jared said, chuckling awkwardly. “And now I am gay-“ He wrapped his arms around Liam’s waist, hugging him from behind.

“Pfft- you are always gay, dude,” Liam said with a giggle, placing his hands over Jared’s. “You only now came to terms with it, though.”

“That’s very true,” Jared said, laughing. “Honestly, I don’t know how I didn’t realize it sooner, though- I definitely some major crushes on dudes that I always brushed off as “admiration” or some s---.”

“Ha! What guys?” Liam asked, turning his head to look at Jared.

“Mm, no one, don’t worry about it, baby~” Jared said with a chuckle, pressing a kiss on Liam’s cheek.

Liam blushed profusely, giggling quietly. “Well, now I really wanna know-“

“I mean, none of them are as cool and adorable as you, so I don’t really see the point of going on~” Jared teased, hugging Liam close. -
“You seem way too defensive about it,” Liam said with a chuckle.

“Wha- No, don’t say that!” Jared said, furrowing his brows a little. “Please, babe, trust me~” He pressed another kiss on Liam’s cheek, humming softly.

“Okay, okay,” Liam said with a chuckle, leaning against Jared a little.

Jared chuckled and kissed Liam’s cheek again triumphantly, holding him close. He looked up and froze, his eyes widening. “Uh, Bug-“ “AYO, WHAT THE f--- IS THIS?!” Michael shouted, a shocked grin on his face as he walked over with his friend Jeremy. “Yo, hold on, what’s going on here?!”

Liam froze, chuckling awkwardly. “Oh, hey, Jeremy, it’s nice to see you-“ he said, trying to ignore Michael.

“Hi,” Jeremy said with a smile, chuckling as he waved at Liam. “NO, no, no! What the hell is going on here?!” “Uhh- Surprise, we’re dating,” Jared said with a chuckle, hugging his boyfriend close. “Wh- What?! Since when?!” Jeremy laughed, patting Michael on the back. “Congrats, you two~”

“Since we talked on the hike,” Liam said with a chuckle, glancing at the ground.

“Bro, why’d you not tell me?!” Michael asked, chuckling softly. “Well, congrats, I guess! I wish you told me sooner, dude-“ “Leave them alone, Michael,” Jeremy said with a chuckle, rolling his eyes. “Thanks, Michael,” Jared said with a chuckle, rubbing Liam’s side with his thumb.
